Holiday Lake

Well positioned apartment but overpriced.

Pros: Excellent location, just 300 metres walk to Bled lake, there was an option to use 2 paddle boards and 2 bikes but this was a first come first served basis. The room was clean and the host was very helpful.

Cons: I found the advertisement for the property confusing, there were many pictures of all the different rooms but no distinction as to what picture was of what room so you had no idea what you were getting. There are 6 or 7 apartments in the building and you don’t know what you are getting until you get there. The double bed had 2 single duvets however I think this might be the norm as we stayed in quite a posh hotel and that had the same set up. Bathroom was very small.

Pros: Location was perfect, parking is available what makes everything easier, the room was perfectly clean and fully equipped.

Pros: The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and in a great location –,just a 5 minute walk from the lake and the local shop. The host was very kind and helpful. I truly recommend this place to everyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay.

Great accommodation in stunning location

Pros: Great location. Very quiet but only 10 mins walk from the lake. Large comfortable beds. Lovely views of the mountains. Parking space. Owner was there to greet us on arrival and very helpful.

Cons: There isn't a sofa, only a bench area, so sitting watching TV is a little uncomfortable. Also, the WiFi isn't great.

Nice location close to the lake. Would stay again.

Pros: I had one of the “basement” rooms but this was totally fine with windows opening up above floor level for adequate ventilation. The bed was large and comfortable and the whole room and bathroom felt very spacious. The kitchenette was adequately furnished. It’s a 5 minute walk to the lake side of Bled and a 25 minute walk into the center of Bled. There is a supermarket just down the road if necessary. Early check in was greatly appreciated. Cons: I didn’t have any shower soap so either this was forgotten during the cleaning or I was supposed to use the hand soap provided at the basin. I carry a small soap bar with me just in case so not a big deal.

Pros: We felt very welcomed here. Host Oskar was waiting for us and was wery helpful and profesional. Comfortable beds and nicely furnished appartement. Lake and Bled village is realy close.

Pros: The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. Host was quick to respond and accommodating.

Cons: I would have liked a microwave but then I don't know if it is a hazard as not all guests could probably be trusted with using it properly. Also it is about 5min walk to the lake but about 2km from the main town area. This could be a positive if you like to be away from the crowds.

Excellent place if you plan to wake up early. Not the best for oversleeping

Pros: The place has the essentials for a few days stay (although seems other flats in the building are mostly used for a day stay). Bed is comfortable and room is dark. There is a washing and ironing room downstairs. Parking is available and is within short walking distance to a supermarket, and to the lake, and while it is a 20 min walk to Bled center... it should be ok for anybody visiting the area.

Cons: Room sound insulation is not adequate. Between 7-8 am you'll be woken up by people moving chairs in the flat upstairs. If you go out hiking early, this will not be an issue, if you are sleeping from a night out, it is.

Beautiful place, few minutes from the lake

Pros: This place is perfect! I would recommend to everyone who wants to stay here, please don’t hesitate! We took the 3 bedroom apartment which had kitchen that was fully complete and extras such as paddle boards and bicycles. The house was very clean and every room had veranda to relax. Situated with few minutes walk from walk and had calming views of meadows and hills. Oskar was kind and friendly. Loved this place and would definitely come again!

Cons: There was only 1 parking available. But we managed to find another carpark close by. The shower soap was very watery.

Pros: Oskar welcomed us at the house and gave us all the important instructions, plus some really helpful tips on where to shop on a Sunday. That made things much easier for us.

Cons: One thing that could be improved: it would be great to have a small info sheet in the rooms, like hotels usually do — with the Wi-Fi password, check-out time, and other basics.
