Stunning location, traditional apartment with beautiful terrace

Pros: This was a spacious apartment in a beautiful traditional house right opposite the historic church in the best village for stunning scenery at lake Bohinj. The apartment is great value for money and though the decor is traditional, it was clean and comfy, had everything we needed and the terrace offered a wonderful breakfast spot. Check in very easy. The village is perfect - has a small shop, great restaurant and bus service. Would love to come back and stay longer.

Cons: Be aware it is about a 20 minute walk down to the lake, and a couple of modest hills on the way up, but if you find the rural path past the village bridge (rather than walking along the main road) it’s the most stunning walk through the wildflower meadows with mountains either side, the most enjoyable path down to the swim spots, snack bars and for hiking onwards round the lake if desired.

Pros: Le cadre est magnifique, dans les montagnes, à 10mn du lac. Une petite supérette qui dépanne bien. L'hôte accueillant, il y a même des petits chaussons, bien appréciables après une journée de marche. Un cadre parfait pour les amoureux de la montagne.
