Really nice place...but its the small things...

Pros: The villa was very spacious & bright...with large windows and clear, beautiful views of the surrounding mountains from the backyard and balcony. The place had plenty of extra blankets/pillows just in case, a well supplied kitchen, and the large livingroom had a very large L-shaped couch and games to play, etc...so great for socializing. The beds were comfortable. We liked our stay at ALPIN...but there were a number of little, annoying things which added up and we believe reflects on the value/cost...see below.

Cons: For the cost/value... 1. Getting the keys was not the most convenient thing...the people at Galaxy were great when we arrived, but there should've been better directions to this place as we had to figure it out ourselves. 2. Parking spot and driveway/road getting in is really tight...not easy to maneuver & load/unload for a van 3. Instructions for usage of kitchen stove, washer/drier, hot water heater, towel rack/heater...not provided...Now, we're Canadian and we're not dumb...but it took us 2 days to figure out how to use the stove/oven and washer/drier...with youtube videos...it's only intuitive AFTER you do it the first time...till then...its a total mystery. Clear instructions/protocols by the switch system and appliances would be of great service, especially I think for North American guests who use completely different systems...the online assistance WAS helpful in the promptness of their answers though...but it would've been nice to have an actual person/host come in even for a couple minutes to help us settle in. 4. Screen doors from/to the bedrooms/balcony upstairs not working/closing properly...so we had to keep the casement doors closed at night (to keep out the bugs) when it would've been nice to get the night breeze coming in...there's no A/C. 5. We found it strange how there were no night lamps in the bedroom by the beds...so getting in/out of bedroom required turning on/off the main ceiling & hallway lights....disturbing others when you have to make a bathroom trip (downstairs) in the middle of the night...night lights would easily fix that. 6. Overall Design of the place is spacious but oddly designed in places...Kitchen is tight/small while there is a superfluous room with unnecessarily large space.

Pros: Great location, just a short walk from the town centre, but in a quiet spot with lovely views of the mountains from the balcony. Facilities good and the apartment had everything we needed. The staff at Outdoor Galaxy, who we also booked activities through were very welcoming and helpful, and also gave us a discount on activities which was a bonus.

Cons: Would have been great to have some comfy furniture on the balcony. Otherwise all was good.

Lovely clean, spacious apartment, great location, would revisit.

Pros: We liked the quiet location but easy walking distance to the centre of Bovec.

Cons: Very minor point - we’d have liked bedside lights and chairs on the balcony upstairs.

Pros: Sehr großzügig, Fliegengitter und Rolladen waren richtig gut. Schöne Terrasse, tolles großes Wohnzimmer, prima Küche!

Cons: Das Kinderzimmer ist sehr klein und dadurch auch sehr warm
