Pros: Our Host was absolutely fantastic! The place is one of a kind. Beautiful! I will defiantly defiantly be back again. It's like a home from home.

A home away from home with dynamic host

Pros: It was like a home away from home, and Jasmine's energy was amazing. She was like a long-lost family member when needed, but let you get on with things when not. She would dip into multiple languages to match her guests and make everyone feel at home. On the more practical side: The homestead is in the middle of nowhere, but that's its charm. It's absolutely gorgeous and good base for exploring the forest and mountains of Triglav national park. The apartments were very clean and everything worked as expected. The use of the E-mountain bikes was a revelation and a great way to check out the surrounding valley. The food was delicious; more geared towards home cooking than michelin level, but all the better for it.

Cons: Not much to be honest. Would have happily stayed much longer (we tried but they were fully booked for the next 6 weeks!) and are making plans to return.

experience of a lifetime, absolutely gorgeous and comfortable stay

Pros: the property was one of the best places i’ve stayed in. the decor, the area is absolutely gorgeous and you will not have an uncomfortable stay in this accom. the stars at night was breath taking and really took the edge off how dark it can get at night. however the cosy fairy lights really made us comfortable and enjoy such an experience. i’d definitely stay here again and would recommend to everyone.

Cons: we had a small miscommunication issue with the host regarding check in times as we had thought we had completed check in hence why we came to the accom quite late. however it was all sorted in the end and we were well looked after. please do communicate with the host well, and i’d highly recommend checking in just before sunset so you could enjoy the area and the views as it’s very wholesome. we wish we could’ve made it earlier to enjoy it.

Pros: Wonderful stay! Everything was clean and cozy, with a lovely breakfast and a beautiful location near great hiking routes. The house is full of charming details — you can really feel the care put into it.

Pros: Would give more than 10 points if possible. We absolutely loved this place, very authentic, beautiful and spacious apartment, super friendly staff. Dinner and breakfast were very delicious, we really appreciated the local ingredients. Perfect for hiking the Juliana Trail, the trail is literally going through the backyard.

Pros: The host was a very nice and kind person. She helped us with wet shoes and clothes, even cooked a wonderful meal. We would love to come back, the accomodation is located in a beatiful enviroment. Cannot recommend enough! The best of 8 other places we stayed while in Slovenia.

Warm Hospitality & Soulful Homecooking in a Peaceful Alpine Retreat

Pros: A truly special stay at Alpine Homestead! Jasmina is an incredible hostess—warm, welcoming, and full of heart. Despite the cold and rainy weather, she made us feel completely at home. Her homecooked dinner, made with local ingredients and neighborly love, was absolutely delicious—especially the chicken soup, which was pure comfort in a bowl. Highly recommend for anyone looking for genuine hospitality and a peaceful mountain escape.
