an ideal holiday stay to discover slovenia

Pros: We are extremely satisfied with this vacation home where we stayed for 12 nights. Both apartments (6 and 4 persons) were equipped with everything necessary, the beds were comfortable (including the sofa beds) and everything was very clean. Outside was a large table with two benches, ideal for having dinner on a sunny evening. Special compliments to the hostess, who was very discreet but made sure we were completely comfortable and e.g. washed the towels when they were dirty. The vacation home is ideally located for exploring both Ljubljana and the Slovenian Alps: Lake Bled, Lake Bohinj, Velika Planina, Solcava panoramic route, Triglav national park etc. We also liked the rural neighbourhood. Special bonus: the Snovik Thermae at 2 km (we received a reduction card from the hostess).

Pros: Lovely host, very helpful. Dog friendly. Lovely location, close to nature and facilities.

Pros: Great place with welcoming owner, who shared recommendations upon arrival. We also received discount for the nearby spa. The apartment was clean, comfortable and in good location. It was fully equipped with everything you might need. Great value, would definitely visit again.

Pleasant apt. in small village in the nature.

Pros: Very nice apt., I fully recommend. The small kitchen has everything you need, There were towels, soap in clean bathroom. In the living room there is a balcony with chairs, a clother dryer and view to the green nature. We had 2 bedrooms in the upper floor, there were great black-out blinds/curtains in the windows. Quiet village with a small shop with basic food near to the apt. The owner is very nice person, she offered us home-made cheese, milk, eggs, sausages as they have a small farm. The apt. is close to the Kamnik Alps.

Cons: I would appreciate a better pillow. The stairs to the bedrooms are very steep, it wasn´t a problem for us. But count on it if you have mobility problems.

Vacation with a dog

Pros: The hospitality and helpfulness of owner was amazing. We stayed with a dog and there was no issue (you just need to pay the extra amount for the dog but that's normal in Slovenia). The apartment we stayed in had a big balcony with a fully supplied kitchen and a bathroom. I really recommend Apartmaji Hribar Pr'Ostank if you are planing to stay for longer in Slovenia, since it's located in middle of Slovenia and you can visit the mountains and the sea within 2h of driving.

Nice place to stay

Pros: Everything was perfect. The apartment was comfortable, clean and fully equipt. The beds were really comfortable. There was everything we needed. The location of the apartmant is also very good, everything what we want to see were not so far (by car). Landlady was kind and very helpful with describe surrounding and travel posibilities. There is also possible to buy any farm products. Accomodation we can recommended :-)

Perfect!

Pros: We spent there three nights. Everything was perfect, the landlady was very nice. The apartment was very clear and cozy. The beds were really comfortable, the kitchen was equipped with a lot of things. There was everything we needed. The location of the apartmant is very good, Arboretum and other hiking tours are available with not much drive. Slovenia is a beautiful country.

Cons: There was nothing.
