Cosy comfort in a mountain village

Pros: We got a warm welcome from our hostess, who lives next door. Parking was easy - a space opposite the apartment. The kitchen was well equipped, the lounge was an inviting room to relax in - the whole flat really felt like a home. Outside, the window sills had pots of flowers in bloom and the next morning our hostess showed us her garden, also with lots of colourful blooms and then we walked through the village with a view towards the mountains. A great introduction to Slovenia.

Super cosy and local place

Pros: Really friendly people who thought of everything! It is a homy, cosy place and we enjoyed it a lot.

An overnight stay in the slovenian Alps

Pros: The hosts were very kind and the apartment comfortable and pleasant. The surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous, you can actually see the FIS ski course from the front yard.

Cons: The bathroom was a bit worn and could use an upgrade.

Local style accommodation in quiet area

Pros: Very clean. Extras like coffee, salt n pepper, shampoo, welcome drink, some toiletries etc provided. Quiet residential area. Local village experience in local style accommodation. Inn nearby (2 min walk) serving meals and drinks. Other restaurants were a short drive away.

Cons: Location is a suburban village. Recommend having a car for transport to surrounding areas and restaurants outside the village.

Pros: Had our own space with everything we needed (with kitchen staples like oil and salt), in a stunning location. Hosts live next door and were very friendly and welcoming, also super accommodating to our plans. We have already said we would like to re-visit at another time of year, and would be looking to stay here again!

Pros: Perfectly located, with private parking few meters from the apartment.

Lovely stay in a cute village near Kranska Gora

Pros: Lovely area in a small village just outside Kranska Gora. Tilika and Janus were lovely and friendly, even giving us some blackberry liquor! Great to be able to cook stuff and do handy having some supplies like vinegar, oil, coffee, etc. thanks so much! Felt very homey

Cons: Nothing really

Nice stay in the pittoresque Podkoren in the beautiful part of Slovenia

Pros: Easy to find, very nice family who runs the place. Old furniture, but everything clean. Borovnička is waiting for you in the fridge.

Pros: The apartment was great and has everything you need. It was very clean. Its cozy and comfortable. We were nicely greeted by the owner and got offered alcohol, there was even a bottle of wine waiting for us. There’s absolutely everything you need for cooking, even salt, sugar, flour, tea etc. Also in the bathroom there lots of towels, toilet paper, shower gel, shampoo, even cotton pads. We had lots of extra pillows and blankets and the beds were comfortable. There is a space with chairs and table outside by the garden. The area is very quiet and beautiful. The owner was so nice that she even let us check in an hour early and also allowed us the leave our bags there for some hours after check out. Overall it was a great experience and we are very satisfied with our stay.

Relaxed country holiday

Pros: Wonderful, cozy accommodation. In the heat it was nice to relax in the coolness of this house. Wonderful hosts. It felt like we were visiting our aunt. Everything was homemade.

Cons: there's nothing like that
