Under The Castle Apartments Ljubljana

Great location

Pros: Great location, so close to everything. The apartment was clean and warm. Easy check-in.

Cons: The living room blinds need updating.

I can stay there for a month or two and call this home.

Pros: The host. Marko was most respectful, responsive and helpful.

Cons: It rained the days we were there, so we did not get to enjoy sitting in our back patio that overlooked the funicular line up to the Castle. However, we could imagine what it could be like sitting in the patio with the calmness of green around us and away from the buzz of the old city of Ljubljana just steps away.

Cosy, historic apartment right in the centre of Ljubljana

Pros: Brilliant location right in the centre of Ljubljana. The castle funicular is right outside the back door. You can't get more central than this! The washing machine was really handy, as I was about 10 days into a 16-day trip, so being able to put a wash load on and dry it was really helpful.

Cons: An extra pillow would have been appreciated.

Family friendly accommodation in an amazing location!

Pros: Location, access to the courtyard, felt very safe, smooth check in and out process, helpful host, clean apartment.

Cons: Nothing!

Overall really cozy and amazing location

Pros: The location is amazing. It is immediately in the centre. For a small space, it was so well utilized that it didn’t feel small. The kitchen was really well stocked with all the essential cookware.

Cons: The bed was fine but the cushions were not that comfortable.

A quirky, comfy room in a great location.

Pros: Fantastic location in an old building right in the centre of town. A quirky room, but comfy and clean, and we really appreciated the use of the communal washing machine and dryer. Good instructions from the host about entry details etc.

Cons: The room was slightly cramped.

Pros: Location is perfect for exploring the city. Lively bar 2 mins away. Lots of restaurants 5 min. Very quiet at night. Big shower.

Cons: If you want to do a lot of cooking our apartment, the smallest, was a bit limited. Otherwise it was a good base.

A wonderful short holiday in a fantastic country with a perfect place to stay

Pros: Location is perfect base for undertaking activities and enjoy the city. Everything is clearly explained and the 'self-service' to get in is convenient. Effective communication with the owner.

Cons: Small point for me. When booking, it is not entirely clear what the booked apartment looks like exactly. Later it is indicated that you should check this carefully to avoid later misunderstandings. Apparently that has happened before?

Cosy and Central

Pros: This is a quirky little apartment in an historic location. It is, as the name says, right under the castle in the centre of the tourist district. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking at home and the nearby square has a fruit and vegetable market that operates everyday except Sunday. It is cosy in cold weather and reasonably quiet. It is nice to have a big bath, although it takes a long time to fill and you have to wait for the water tank to reheat. The shower has really good water pressure.
