A quaint and quirky apt with an old-world charm in the heart of the city
Pros: The best part of Studio Ian was its location. It was literally 15 steps to the river that runs through Ljubljana city centre. There are lots of shops, restaurants, cafes and attractions the moment you step into the street. The studio itself was very spacious, quaint and quirky. It's clearly an older building/structure and the original arches and walls have been retained to add to the old-world charm. I travelled during early October so the temperature was perfect inside the room. There is no AC but I did not miss it at all. The bathroom is very nice too and the compact space has been optimised. The kitchenette is basic and does not have too much counter space but I found it adequate as I didn't do any cooking. There's a nice table near the kitchenette that provides more space to keep things. The apt had a cozy, lived-in feeling with the kind of decor and personal touches you would find in your home. The host was nice enough to allow me a late check-out.
Cons: Lack of privacy in terms of drapes for the windows. While there are curtains for the two windows that open directly to the street, the arches of the ceiling don't allow for them to cover the windows completely. I devised a make-shift arrangement to cover the windows as much as possible. It would be great if the manager looks into this aspect - a small detail that will go a long way!

Perfect location
Pros: A lovely, cosy apartment in a great location for accessing the Old Town. Very clean with attention to detail. Kitchen had the essentials for simple cooking.
Cons: This apartment is on a ground floor with 2 big opening windows but does lack natural light due to the tall buildings opposite and narrow street. Not really an issue if you’re planning to be out most of the day though!

Pros: Izcila atrašanās vieta gājēju ielā vēsturiskā ēkā pilsētas vēsturiskajā centrā dažu soļu attālumā no upes un upmalas mājīgajām kafejnīcām un restorāniem. Neskatoties uz izvietojumu 1. stāvā, studija ir klusā vietā, kur ielas trokšņi pārāk netraucē. Ļoti laipna saimniece, kas viesmīlīgi mani sagaidīja, neskatoties uz pavēlo stundu un lidojuma aizkavēšanos. Mājīgs studijas aprīkojums un labs internets. Viss, kas nepieciešams īsai, bet piesātinātai darba vizītei. Derēs arī tiem, kas vēlas atpūsties.
Cons: Atrašanā vēsturiskās ēkas 1. stāvā bija mazliet saistīta ar svaiga gaisa jautājumu. Studijā ir gaisa mitruma savācējs, kas noteikti jādarbina. Siltā ūdens boileria veikstspēja bija pietiekama viena viesa vajadzībām, bet diviem vai vairākiem viesiem varētu nepietikt siltā ūdens. Novērtētu komplimentāru tējas vai kafijas piedāvājumu.
