Residence Soča

A peaceful retreat where you can hear the Soca river bubbling in the background, a great base.

Pros: A beautiful serene setting, well appointed rooms with full kitchens and lovely outdoor terrace. Very happy with the free electric bikes and the kind receptionist setting up the barbeque for us ( though we couldn't work it out in the end). The staff were very accommodating and the location and gardens really gorgeous.

Cons: It was a bit weird that the bed was set up from the sofa ( which meant you didn't have a sofa to sit on). The room was not well sound proofed as I was kept awake by the people upstairs stomping about and dragging chairs etc. The wellness / sauna was lovely and great that you could book a private slot but the spa / jacuzzi was not clean and it needed an overhaul as was falling apart in places.

Residence Soca had very welcoming staff and it was a lovely stay in a peaceful setting.

Pros: It was very new and clean, with personal service by excellent staff. It had a sauna and whirlpool spa bath in a natural setting. There were some lovely touches like coffee on arrival, a breakfast basket and a small farewell gift. The apartment was well stocked and had a bbq downstairs that you could book. The setting by the river was very peaceful, with nice wading spots nearby.

Cons: The location was a bit removed from the closest town, although there was a convenience store next door. While you couldn’t walk to a restaurant, it was a very peaceful setting to cook your own food. The master bedroom was a little small.

Exceptional place

Pros: Amazing, cozy place in a faboulous location. The apartment had everything we needed and more :) The compliementary tea in the room was absolutely delicious. Super nice and helpful staff. I left something in the room and they arranged to send it to me by post to my next accommodation at no charge. Thank you Residence Soca team!

Cons: Nothing to sam. Everything was great.

Pros: Good location and lovely staff. Very good breakfast basket. Restaurant down the road was nice.

Great location and facilities

Pros: E-bikes were great, facilities to cook outside and use sauna were great. Package of local stuff was great for breakfast and the staff were so attentive. Location is beautiful for walks

Pros: Our stay at Residence Soca was amazing from the start. Accomodation itself is in very high standard, studio apartment was big enough, clean and with all necessary equipment present and small pleasant details (welcome gift package, coffee, tea from local hebrs, etc.). Dominika from the reception made our stay even better with her warm welcome, constant help and superb tips for hiking and biking.

Pros: It’s amazing. The location is good. It was very clean and spacious. We loved the welcome gift. There was all the equipment in kitchen that you need and all the spices, tea and coffee. We loved sauna.
