Pros: Comfortable apartment in Jelendol, a beautiful and extremely calm mountain village. Easy to find an check in, excellent place for starting trails. Reasonable price

Cons: Smaller issues: insufficient toilet paper, no hair dryer and some spiderwebs.

Peaceful Castle Retreat with Fireplace and Wonderful Host

Pros: Set in a beautifully restored wing of an old castle, this apartment felt like a hidden retreat. I hesitated at first because it’s a bit remote—about a 30-minute drive to Lake Bled—but the scenic road and peaceful setting made the distance absolutely worth it. The building was destroyed during WWII and later rebuilt, and the apartment itself is modern, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Tina, who lives in the same building, was wonderful—kind, responsive, and quick to help with anything we needed. Communication was easy and timely. The best part was the fireplace, which made our evenings cozy and truly unforgettable. Practical note: the apartment is on the 3rd floor, and there’s no elevator.

Pros: Tina has her apartment in the most beautiful place of Tržič! It is stunning mountain view. Everything was clean and in order, and Tina is really nice.
