Posestvo Rouna - winery and apartments

Really nice place and very quiet. Good for relaxing and having some wines.

Pros: The apartment was big and spacious. Very clean and well equipped. The winery is very beautiful. The wine we bought there was really delicious. The location is a bit out but as it is a winery u need space for the field. Slap village is walkable distance but there are mainly other wineries. Vipava is not so far but you need a car to go there. There is restaurant, pizzeria, shop.

Cons: The lady at the reception was nice, but unfortunately they didn’t answer back my message through booking. As we didn’t know it was not season any more we just got the information that there is no restaurant there and no wine tasting when we arrived. It would have been good if they answer back for the message beforehand so we can prepare ourselves beforehand.

Pros: I had a truly memorable stay at Posestvo Rouna | Apartmaji & Vino. The apartments are spacious, comfortable, and very well kept — everything you need to feel at home is there. The surroundings are peaceful, with beautiful views of the vineyards and nature all around. What made the biggest impression on me was the hospitality. The hosts are genuine, kind, and take great pride in their wine and property. Sitting down with a glass of their excellent wine in the evening felt like a privilege. For anyone looking for real tranquility, tradition, and a touch of local culture, this is the place to be. It is not just a stay, but an experience I will warmly remember.

Pros: Beautiful location, very spacious apartment with big balcony, perfect for a stay in combination with wine tasting on location

Great stay in the wine region

Pros: Very friendly upon arrival and we were able to join the wine tasting that was an hour after our arrival. The room was nicely finished, modern, and very spacious. The massive balcony was great to sit out and relax with our recently purchased wine in the evening (I recommend the zelen). Plenty of parking, and was about a 20 minute walk into Slap for more wineries, and not too far of a drive to other activities in the area.

Cons: The air conditioning was in the main living room, so as a result the bedroom was a bit warmer. We had to sleep with the bedroom door open to try to be a bit cooler,, which meant the sun came straight through the window in the other room to wake us up a bit earlier than we wanted (because the beds were comfy).

Pros: Tina and Laura made us feel so welcomed! We had a spacious and clean apartment. We can't thank Laura enough for the wonderful wine tasting and all the things she shared about wine making, Slovenian traditions and the family estate. We learned so much and had a wonderful time with you! Sadly we couldn't stay longer than just one night. Rouna is such a beautiful estate with very generous and sweet hosts - and delicious wine! Hvala!😍

Clean, newly furnished, affordable, convenient accomodations at a winery

Pros: Very convenient to have a nice, modern, spacious place to stay for the night after doing the wine tasting on site (just a few flights down in the wine cellar). What a relief to finish the tasting and just have to walk up a few flights of stairs into bed :) - Amenities look brand new and modern, check-in was smooth, and the hosts are very friendly. - Would recommend for an affordable stay in Vipava if you want to do a wine tasting and not have to worry about getting back to your accomodations afterwards!

Cons: The room we stayed in was on the attic floor so the ceiling was sloped and quite low in certain areas - just have to watch your head. Also just know there is no breakfast option on site or nearby, but they do have a kitchen and Vipava is a short 15 minute drive away.

Beautiful location

Pros: Everything was perfect. The owners are very friendly and the room was clean and spacious. The area around the winery is so beautiful.

A wonderful place to stay in the wine region

Pros: Beautiful, clean and modern apartments over looking the vineyards. Lovely views, comfortable accomodation and wonderful wine tasting experience.

Cons: Nothing! It was perfect.

Beautiful setting, clean and comfortable

Pros: We loved the view overlooking the vineyard, the modern design of the apartment, comfortable beds, everything was super clean. It was quiet and peaceful, the kids were able to play at the playground. The owners put a lot of love in this places and it shows! We would love to come back one day and stay longer.

Honeymoon stop

Pros: Beautiful location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent evening doing the wine tasting on site, very good value for money. View from our apartment was beautiful. We would definitely recommend staying here and would like to visit again. Tips- we stayed for 2 nights so after the wine tasting at the vineyard, the other night we went into Vipava town and went to a fantastic restaurant called KRNE, so if you have more than one night definitely try there! On our second day, we hired bikes from Dims Bikes to explore the valley, family run and very helpful.
