L&G ROOMS

Pros: I had a very pleasant stay here. Each unit has its own private room and bathroom, with a shared kitchen, and everything was clean and well organized. Finding the accommodation was very easy thanks to the digital receptionist app. There is a €70 security deposit, which is fully refunded if nothing is damaged. I was especially impressed by the staff — the gentleman was extremely kind and helpful. He allowed free parking for the entire day after check-out, and since it was snowing, he even lent me a broom to clean my car. The bus stop is only a 5-minute walk away, and the city center of Ljubljana can be reached in about 20 minutes. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone! 😊

Pros: Really small but comfortable room. The place is a bit far from the center, but for people who like to take a walk like me it is not that big deal. Having your own parking lot is also one of the best things. You can leave your car just there without having to walk a lot with heavy luggages. Situated in a super quiet area.

Pros: The property was very well situated with lots of parking space, in a quiet area. Everything in the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the instructions for the property were clear and easy to understand. I could hear very little noise from other guests and the facilities provided were very good.

Pros: Parking slots, communicative location 5 min walk to bus stop, 10 min walk to a very good pizzeria. Private bathroom which was a must for us.

Cons: The check-in, an application is used and I was charged additionally, service fee. Several rooms and single common space, you could be woke up by someone doing a coffee in the morning etc -this is normal i'd say.

Pros: It was clean, helpful staff, location near a bus stop, provided kitchen utensils

Cons: no blinds that make the room completely dark

It was a stay that met my expectations other than the faulty communication I have mentioned.

Pros: Clean. In general, good communication. A not too distant public bus stop.

Cons: There was a miscommunication regarding my check in. Before contracting the room I asked if I could do a check in at 1 a.m. in the morning and I was told that there would be no problem. But I was NOT told that I would be able to get in without having to recur to a staff member, I.e. that it was with a key in a lock box. This meant that I had no idea how I was actually going to get into the apartment. I was then asked to check in with a digital receptionist app and when I went to do the check in it said the check in was from 16:00h to 20.00h. And it gave options for a late check in that had a corresponding fee. I was at a loss at what to do since there had been no previous information about these fees … or even if there would be somebody waiting for me at 1 a.m. which is when my train was arriving in Ljubljana. So I thought I will pay a late check in fee and see how we can sort this out later. Only when I received the information at 16:00h did I realize that I was going to be able to get into the apartment with a key in a lockbox. This had not been communicated to me previously… and I had already made the payment of the late check in fee. Once installed in the apartment I asked for a refund of the late check in fee I had paid (25 euros) but L&G did not grant me the refund. So… my feeling was that I paid an extra 25 euros because of a not sufficiently clear communication from L&G or rather that L&G said something to me and the Digital Receptionist said something else which left me in a quandary. Other than this insufficiently clear communication between L&G and the DR app the service and stay was excellent.

Clean and tidy, great value for money

Pros: Very clean and tidy, it had everything you need for a short stay.

Cons: Stairs to the apartments are a bit noisy, coming back to the apartment late will definitely draw the attention.

Pros: It was exactly what we needed for the trip, just a place to rest the head before heading back out the next day.

Close to the city centre , wonderful walks, easy access to shops. All in all a great little location

Pros: Easy check in. Nice comfortable bed. Strong shower. Other guests were amazing

Great hosts

Pros: I was super in need of a place to stay for the night and I was late because I missed my bus. I was lucky that I found great hosts

Cons: There was nothing I didn't like
