Wonderful location for a stay at Bohinj.

Pros: A characterful forest lodge in a beautiful setting for a holiday home - amongst the woodland at the west end of Bohinj, a few minutes walk from the lake itself and from the cable car up to the Vogel ski resort, where you can walk to the higher peaks from in summer. The cabin has a lovely veranda where we ate each evening. There's a grill for outdoor cooking. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, and there's plenty of seating round the table in the main lounge-dining room.

Cons: The kitchen is a little small, and some of the kitchen equipment is not the newest. If six people are staying, one toilet is a push...

Cosy lodge in amazing location near lake Bohinj.

Pros: Amazing location very close to Lake Bohinj. Owners very responsive to all questions asked. Accommodation as described.

Cons: One bathroom proved to be not enough for family of five with three teens. No criticism of listing though as this fact was very clear in the description.

Dejlig ferie i skønne og helt fantastiske omgivelser. Mange muligheder for hikes til kløfter og vandfald.

Pros: Den fantastiske beliggenhed så smuk en udsigt og en dejlig have og terrasse. Tæt på den smukke sø og ikke langt til nærmeste by. Huset var gammelt men hyggeligt.

Cons: Lille køkken uden opvaskemaskine og lille bad/toilet er for lidt når man er 5 voksne afsted.

Pros: De locatie is perfect, 5 minuten loopafstand van het meer Bohinj, dichtbij camping Bohinj, wij hebben daar regelmatig in het restaurant gegeten, sup's en kano's zijn daar te huur. 5 minuten lopen van gondellift Vogel waarmee je de berg op kan, anderhalf uur lopen naar de waterval. Het huis heeft een rustige ligging en biedt aan de achterkant een prachtig uitzicht op het gebergte, het ligt aan de voorkant aan een weg (weinig verkeer), er staan meerdere huizen, het huis is al een paar honderd jaar oud, maar het is binnen mooi gestyled met frisse kleuren en accessoires. Al het 'oude' van het huis is binnen zoveel mogelijk behouden gebleven. Eigenaren zijn heel betrokken en mailcontact verliep heel prettig.

Cons: Enorme steile trap, wel mooi en hoort bij de 'look' van het 'oude'huis maar zeker niet geschikt voor kleine kinderen of als je slecht ter been bent. Geen vaatwasser, maar dat wisten we vantevoren. Douche en toilet beneden naast de keuken kan wat onhandig zijn als je in de nacht naar het toilet moet en de steile trap af moet. Uiteindelijk zijn wij wel gewend geraakt hoe je de trap het beste op en af kan. 1 van de bedden maakte een krakend geluid als je omdraaide in bed, dit zullen ze nog wel herstellen.
