Quiet place, hidden gem close to Lake Bled! :)

Pros: In total, we spent 3 days in Slovenia for New Year’s Eve with our dog who is TERRIFIED of fireworks so we wanted a very quiet location. This place is FANTASTIC, we will surely come back. Iza a great host, always asking how she can help or what the guests need. She gave us home made jam and home made cheese…how lovely! Apartment is well equipped but should you need anything else, just ask the host. There is hiking option nearby, we just wandered around in the woods, not seeing anybody for hours. So peaceful. Great way to recharge after Christmas and before the new year.

Pros: Thank you Iza, Lojze, and Mateo for a wonderful stay. Lovely breakfast, very accommodating hosts, great chats, beautiful setting, immaculately clean.

Pros: Breakfasts made with farm-fresh products, hosts who make you feel right at home, and breathtaking views — this place has it all. The hosts shared fascinating stories about farming and even took us along for goat milking. For people from the city who miss the countryside, this is exactly what you need. We’ll be happy to return here again.

Everything great

Pros: Amazing location, friendliness of the hosts, cleanness of the room and tasty breakfast. The host was even so kind to let us borrow their bikes to visit lake Bled. The location is easily reachable by car (be careful for deer at dusk) and it's 100m from the starting point of a hike to Babji Zob where you get a great view of the lake.

Slovenia with a heart

Pros: Being away from the hustle and bustle of Bled was a bonus. We loved exploring the local area, pastures, church, mountains and also walking to and dipping into the lake for memorable views and swims. Iza was so attentive, breakfast was a treat, so much local produce to start the day. Feel blessed to have found Dolinar Krainer and can’t wait to return.

Lovely stay in an exceptional location

Pros: The location of the farm is lovely, calm and relaxing. It's a beautiful place to go to reset away from the city while being near to every beautiful sights around Bled. Isa has been an amazing host throughout our stay, informing us of the best places to go and giving us great advice as how to adapt our plans to the weather and place.

Cons: Maybe the kitchen could do with more cutlery and tools. But it hasn't hampered our enjoyment of the place.

Convenient and quiet location. Clean and spacious apartment.

Pros: It's located in a quiet and authentic village. There are several trails near the farm. It's also close to the Bohinj and Bled lakes, which is very convenient. The host is welcoming and does everything to make your stay comfortable.

A peaceful countryside retreat with a wonderful host, delicious breakfast, and a warm, homely atmosphere.

Pros: The property is set in a quiet, peaceful village — the perfect escape from the city. We especially appreciated being able to let our dog roam freely off-leash. Iza, the host, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfasts were a real treat, with a lovely selection of local, fresh products — and the scrambled eggs were absolutely excellent! It all felt truly authentic and thoughtful.

Cons: Honestly, nothing comes to mind. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

Pros: One of the best houses I’ve ever rented during all my trips to Europe. The house is clean, fully equipped with everything you need, and the location is excellent the hosts were exceptionally kind and helpful we truly enjoyed our stay
