Pros: This farmhouse near the border, just fiew minutes from the Postojna Caves, exceeded our expectations. They kindly accommodated our late-night check-in, which made our arrival stress-free. Breakfast was delicious and varied, featuring wonderful local products. The bathroom felt like a little pamper — lovely branded soaps and thoughtful touches — and the room was spotless. A warm, comfortable stay highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.

Pros: The place was very clean and in a pretty country location. We had dinner and breakfast, and both meals were delicious and good value. We also enjoyed going to see the donkeys. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons: The place is a few kilometres from Postojna, so if you didn't have a vehicle or didn't want to eat there, it might not be suitable. As we had a car, that was not a problem. It would have been nice to have a comfortable chair or two in the room as it was not easy to relax and read in the room without a chair, and the sloped ceiling didn't allow one to sit up in bed enough to read.

Beautifully presented, modern, clean, well equipped, split apartment.

Pros: Beautifully presented, modern, clean, split apartment with excellent facilities. The lady who welcomed us was very friendly and welcoming. We had dinner which was delicious and well presented. Located in a quiet village surrounded by mountains.

Cons: Although the meal was delicious, it would be helpful for guests if there was more transparency regarding prices for meals and drinks. Maybe a blackboard in the dining area that can easily be changed? We are not used to ordering food without knowing the cost, especially as there are 5 in our family. The young lady serving us got impatient as we had to keep asking about the prices.
