Pros: Excellent communication from the gentleman who checked us in and shared his local knowledge with us....ideal location to explore Ljubljana and ideal safe place to stay for a night or 2, thank you. Lots of pubs and restaurants nearby too.

Pros: When we realised that our already late-set arrival would be delayed, we immediately informed the owner, and he was incredibly accomodating and stayed over late to check us in. He was also generally very friendly. The penzion is on the upper floor of a larger building. There is a separate (incredibly good) restaurant Das ist Walter on the ground floor. The penzion is right in the center, so there are many monuments, museums and galleries within walking distance

Cons: Everything was great.

Pros: Florijan at the reception was supernice, communication was very efficient with him. The room was exactly like on the pictures, the beds are comfy. The place itself is very authentic and the location is perfect.

Pros: Good bed, nice location. Good advice for a nice breakfast location, just 5 min walk.

It was really nice. The receptionist was really friendly.

Pros: I liked everything about it, with exception of the hot water end up during my wife's bath (10 minutes).

Cons: The hot water end it in after10 minutes.

Fantastic stay

Pros: Pod Lipo is a fantastic and lovely little pension located in the center of Ljubljana. You can reach all attractions in a few minutes walk. We really liked to have cafés, restaurants, bars, bakeries and a supermarket around the corner. The room we had (no. 5, just above the restaurant located in the ground floor), is very spacious and equipped with a small kitchen, the beds are comfortable and the place overall is very clean. There is also a small breakfast area equipped with a coffee machine, a fridge etc., a terrace to enjoy your morning coffee or wine in the evening. We traveled by car and were happy to have also a private parking space here for just 12 €/ day. We like the most the personal and direct contact with Florijan and Marijan and enjoyed the chats with them a lot. Both are very kind persons who really care about their guests and their needs. If we travel to Lubljana again we will definitely choose Pod Lipo for our stay.

Fantastic host

Pros: Sebastijan was a fascinating & likeable host. I learned much about Slovenia and it's history during my stay. The room was quiet spacious and comfortable.

Cons: Nothing to dislike about Penzion Pod Lipo... but the entirely separate restaurant underneath wasn't great unless you love cheaper meat meals.

Nice stay

Pros: The room was nice, with a big comfortable bed. There were even two extra pillows. The location is also very good and the staff is very nice. We were also allowed to leave our luggage early in the hotel and there is parking available.

Cons: The shower was very small. I think the price is expensive compared to where I live, but it seems to be a good price for Ljubljana.
