Quaint, friendly hospitality with quality meals.

Pros: The guesthouse is a throw back to the past. It was very quaint and comfortable. Public transport is at the doorstep and the owner is happy to loan bikes free of charge for a short ride into Mosta Soci or a longer (around 7km) ride into Tolmin and then up to the Tolmin Gorges. Meals were awesome value and very tasty. Definitely try the trout!

Cons: Nothing. The host is very friendly and accommodating.

Wonderful small hotel and restaurant in quiet town, great value for money

Pros: Good cozy hotel with on-site restaurant, good food for democratic prices there. Good food, nice people, location in quiet small city.

Cons: Single room was quite small and with angled ceilings, tall people need to be careful

Great accommodation for a very reasonable price

Pros: Absolutely amazing staff, very helpful and very accommodating to our needs. Breakfast was made to order, fresh and healthy as part of the booking. I also really liked the restaurant and tasty meals we had for dinner. Room was small but had all the things needed for our stay, including AC, wardrobes and bathroom. Even though our window was facing the nearby train station, there was no noise.

Wonderfully friendly hotel with a very kind host

Pros: This is a family run hotel in a very convenient location for the railway station (and bus to Tolmin). The host is amazing and went above and beyond to accommodate us and answer all our questions. We very much enjoyed the homecooked food at dinner and breakfast. The nut studli with walnut ice cream was the best!

Pros: ~ Very convenient location as the guest house is a one minute walk to the railway station ~ Marino is a helpful and friendly host, always making sure guests are happy ~ A hot, appetising breakfast included in the price ~ Clean, quiet and comfortable room ~ Peaceful atmosphere and environment ~ Restaurant open in the early evening

Cons: ~ The local bus service of Nomago to/from Most na Soci and Tolmin should be every hour, and is not entirely reliable in the evenings

Pros: The staff was amazingly friendly and even gave us cooled water for our hike. The room was very cute and clean, the food in the restaurant for dinner and the breakfast were delicious.

Pros: The staff were warm and welcoming, and the food was genuinely excellent—fresh and full of flavour. The room matched the photos and met expectations: clean, comfortable, and just as described. Parking on-site made things easy, and the sunny courtyard was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy a meal.

Cons: The location is a bit off the beaten path, so it might not suit those looking to explore nearby towns easily. That said, it wasn’t an issue for us as we were happy staying put and enjoying the peace and quiet.
