Gostilnica Orle - Sleeping in the tower

Pros: The location was really nice and had a nice view if you climbed the tower a little. The restaurant downstairs also served some great food with massive portions. All and all it felt very cozy. One big surprise where the deer that live in a closed off area next to the hotel.

Cons: The smell wasnt bad it just felt a bit off. But a cracked window fixed that relatively fast.

Nice stay with beatiful view.

Pros: The apartment was nice, clean and cozy including the terrace with beatiful view. Eventhough there was no wi-fi, we got coffee for free in the morning.

Cons: There wasn´t wi-fi and also no information in the apartment about the accomodation, For example I would expect some information about the restaurant. We got just the keys upon the arrival and that was all.

Pros: Staying at Gostilnica Orle was an unforgettable experience! From the moment you arrive, you feel like a VIP – the peaceful setting in nature is something truly special. Waking up in the morning and seeing deer just outside your window is absolutely magical. The restaurant is a highlight on its own – delicious traditional food, generous portions, and all at a very fair price. Whether you’re relaxing on the terrace or enjoying a warm meal after a walk in the surrounding nature, everything feels authentic and welcoming. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with great hospitality, beautiful views, and hearty meals, this is the place. Highly recommended!

A piece of nature close to the city.

Pros: A unique experience with clean and cozy accommodation only 15 minutes drive from the center of Ljubljana. Host were kind and very helpful. The view from the tower is wonderful and the restaurant offers large portions of extremely tasty food. You can enjoy great walks through the surrounding forest while admiring the area's rich wildlife (deer, roe deer, etc.). Seeing a white deer emerge from the forest in the evening was quite unbelievable.

Excellent food and service

Pros: We stayed one night; the room was small but convenient and clean. Gostilnica Orle is located in a quiet area with extra delicious food and excellent service.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The owner and staff are incredibly friendly, and everything is spotless and brand new.

Cons: It would be ideal if the windows and door had dark curtains to block the morning light and allow for uninterrupted sleep.

Pros: Very comfortable, spacious, rustic inspired room with ensuite modern bathroom. Location is great, in the forest above Ljubljana yet close to the city. In the evening and morning we saw deer walking by. Great view of the city from the tower and a very good restaurant on the property. We really enjoyed our stay.
