Pros: I absolutely loved this place. It was very peaceful and I found it incredibly calming staying here. The views across Slovenia go all the way to the sea on a sunny day and we're beautiful. Great room and great facilities.

Peaceful getaway

Pros: Nice, peaceful place with a beautiful view. The check-in and kitchen policy is fitting the expected clientele, I think it works well. The room and common kitchen were comfy and clean. The necessary infos are available, and the host is responsive and helpful.

Cons: - not necessarily an issue, but the place is on a high hill, might be difficult to reach on foot. - slight issue: the wifi doesn't reach far. - and the nearby church bell started its \

A marvellous surprise of cleansiness, history and stunning surroundings

Pros: The facilities are located in one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. A peaceful monastery is clung on top of a high hill in Slovenia, right across the border with Italy. From there you can admire on one side the cities and hundreds of km of coast, ending with the sea. On the other side the alps sit austere and majestic . Center Mir is perfectly clean, mint, staff was always communicating with clarity and speed. This has become my favourite place if I'll ever have to stop over night on that route.

Pros: It was very quiet, very clean, and the location is interesting - there is a church right next to it (beware the bells every 15 minutes), the views are stunning, and on the way there are good viewpoints and some historical leftovers from the wars (tunnels, barricades).

The room was nice and clean. We stayed 1 night, and we liked the apartment.

Lovely tranquil place to stay with best views

Pros: Beautiful location, very quiet and peaceful, with amazing views. Very clean, impeccably clean everywhere. Well equipped (beds, showers, washing machine, kitchen, dining room, lecture room).

Cons: Not enough electric sockets in the room (2 sockets in a room for 5). No nightlights next to beds.

Pros: camera pulita e nuova, il ragazzo alla reception sempre sorridente e simpatico e pronto ad aiutare in caso di richieste. panorama speciale con vista mare sulle montagne di nova gorica

Cons: unico problema è il monastero a pochi metri con le campane che suonano insistentemente anche di notte. se non avete problemi col sonno, è perfetto altrimenti c'è il rischio di svegliarsi ogni ora
