Guesthouse Macesen

Pros: Wonderful staff, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is basic but fresh and tasty. Beautiful location, far from the big traffic areas. Stunning views.

Cons: Quite hard to get the reasonable temperature in the room in summer. No air conditioning (which is not always a must) and limited ventilation options (window overlooking the playground / basketball court) mean that you either have to settle for some noise and potential mosquitoes or high temperatures.

Pros: The mountain view is fantastic. The guesthouse is located in the mountains. Spacious and clean room. The kitchen is shared where you can cook for yourself and there is a big refrigerator. Aldo there is table tennis and a piano ( which is unfortunately out of tune..)

Cons: The guesthouse has a restaurant and the door between them is opened all day. Therefore there is a strong grease smell in the hotel area. The sauna is additional charge (10 euro) if you stay only one night. This information is not on booking.com, so it was a disappointment.

Comfortable and price worthy stay not far from Bled.

Pros: New and clean accommodation. Prices for dinner and breakfast where very acceptable, the food was good and portions were very sufficient. Shared kitchen in hallway was equiped with the neccecery items.

Cons: Stores/supermarkets to be found in the next town.

Would love to visit again

Pros: The room was very clean and the staff was perfect, the waitress had perfect English and was very friendly. Thank you! 🙂 We only stayed for the night and then continued traveling. The place was very good for this purpose, the location was very nice and calm / silent.

Good to be back again and again!

Pros: Peaceful, quiet, good restaurant and staff. Comfortable bed for a good sleep. We stayed for the 6th time - that’s better review than any words 😃

Cons: Internet was barely accessible in the room; soap instead of liquid soap or shower gel

Pros: Very frendly and kind stuff, cozy and very clean room, very happy about table tenis available, restaurant with tasty pizzas, nature around is very beautiful.

If you can find it, it's a beautiful little place in a gorgeous location

Pros: Charming Guesthouse in a tiny village in the middle of the mountains. After a long motorcycle ride through the hot sun, hairpin curves and gorgeous views, this place was a fantastic reststop for the night. Clean, spacious, comfortable with a great restaurant and attentive staff, we were overjoyed with this place. The walk around the village was just beautiful and relaxing after a copious meal.

Cons: Those 3 mosquitoes that sneaked into the room through the open window... they had a good lunch too!

Perfect for families who need a place for the night.

Pros: The rooms and building are newly refurbished. The room we got was spacious, everything was clean and nice. There is a common kitchen if one needs and the breakfast they offer is fairly priced.

Cons: Not much to do around the place (in the winter).
