Pros: It was a really lovely room,clean,with a very large terrace. We arrived quite late and the personnel were so nice. They welcomed us and checked us in, breakfast was ok,I definitely recommend it,it also has a playground for children, really nice.

Convenient guesthouse in rural surrounding

Pros: Rural surrounding, guesthouse seems to be in the middle of nowhere while it is just 25 km from Ljubljana and the same distance from Postojna. Restaurant in the same building. Convenient parking places, nice room and bathroom, good breakfast and wifi, friendly staff.

Excellent accommodation close to Ljubljana

Pros: Great self contained room for our one night stay. Standard facilities with private bathroom and toilet. There is no fridge or tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Located in a lovely peaceful rural setting with local walking tracks in the area. Evening meal in the restaurant was very reasonable. We had breakfast in the morning and the selection was great with continental and european, plus cooked options. You need a car for this accommodation and there is parking available.

Highly recommendable!

Pros: The guesthouse is located in a quiet rural area. It is kids friendly, there is a playground next to the house. Our room had a terrace which opened to a large backyard. The view is wonderful. Breakfast was excellent. There is a large choice of beverages (coffee, tea, juice, milk) and food. The guesthouse has a private parking.

Cons: The pillows were uncomfortable.

Pros: The room was very clean, had a wonderful smell. The breakfast was great too. There was table soccer and playground for our children, they enjoyed them a lot. Also the environment is beautiful. This is a very highly recommended place to stay, perfect value for money.

If you are looking for a nice and good hotel outside Ljubljana with a friendly host, then Guesthouse

Pros: If you are looking for a nice hotel with excellent price-quality ratio with a friendly host, then Guesthouse Mesec Zaplana is the place to be. Our motorbikes were safe and dry in the shed, we had a great meal there in the evening and a good Slovenian breakfast in the morning. For us it was a great address. We will come back again.

Cons: Hard beds. No further comments.
