A nice quiet stop with food and beer.

Pros: Lovely room. Restaurant and bar below. Great food and accommodating owner and staff. I was allowed to park my motorcycle at the back under cover. The food was lovely. Quiet location. Breakfast was good.

Pros: The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are nicely furnished and clean. We stayed for just one night during our trip. We only found out upon arrival that the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, yet the stay was still pleasant and can be recommended.

Pros: The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food and drink each night in the restaurant was delicious. Having driven from the UK it was the perfect haven to relax before we continued.

Wonderful hosts, 100% clean rooms, warm and familiar atmosphere.

Pros: It was really nice that we could schedule our breakfast according to our plans for the day. The hosts were absolutely flexible, we could even have dinner on days when the restaurant was generally closed. Our room was super-cozy, and it was tidied up every day. It is easy to reach many of Slovenia's sights from here by car, but be careful, trips may last a little bit longer than estimated by Google/Waze due to roadblocks and long serpentines.

Pros: Clean and Inviting: The guesthouse was well-maintained and welcoming. Complimentary Bicycles: They offered free bikes for exploring the scenic area. Peaceful Location: Situated in flat land between hills and near a small river, it provided a serene atmosphere. Delicious Dinner: I enjoyed a tasty pizza for dinner. Friendly Hosts: The hosts were incredibly helpful and provided great local tips. Satisfying Breakfast: The included continental breakfast was simple but enjoyable.

Cons: Distance from Lake Bled: It’s not very close to Lake Bled; reaching it requires a drive along winding roads, which could be inconvenient for some.

Fantastic staff, excellent food and accommodation

Pros: We felt like we found a gem in Pri Zalogarju. The apartment we had was perfect. Spacious, well-cleaned, fresh, and ideal for a family. The food was some of the best we had during our entire trip to Slovenia. But above all, the service was amazing. We felt welcome and well taken care of from the first minute. The staff quickly learned our habits and went that extra mile, making us feel almost like part of a big family. We loved the place and can’t wait to go back! ❤️

Croatia 🇭🇷

Perfect stay

Pros: The location is fantastic both for ecotourism (which we will come back for, for sure) as well as a quick stop on the way to Croatia for summer holidays. Thr resto/kafić was newly renovated and quite nice for having a drink and something to eat. Janez and his family are super nice, genuine people so we would definitely stay again. 😊
