A gem

Pros: The view and easy acces to the lake and walk in to Bled. Very homely too. Maja responded super quickly to emails.

A memorable stay!

Pros: This is an absolute gem! We ended up spending most of our time in the house, enjoying the views, bird watching and enjoying watching the activities in the lake. I will stay here in a heartbeat if I'm in Bled again. Maya is a wonderful hostess who aims to make her guests feel comfortable and happy. Thank you!

We had a great Stay at Sovica. The best part was sitting on the balcony overlooking the lake with a nice glass of Sloven

Pros: The location of the property was excellent and the wow factor was amazing when we walked in the door. The property was well equipped with everything we needed and was cosy and warm especially with the log burner going. Maja was very easy to communicate with and was very quick to help us with a small maintenance issue.

Pros: Amazing views day and night. Incredibly friendly host. Fully stocked and interesting place to stay. Very unique and fell more in love with it the longer we stayed.

Cons: Overcrowded surfaces so nowhere to put all the baby stuff but once we moved things around felt at home. Ants like to investigate the kitchen!

Pros: The host, Maja was very helpful and responsive all the time. The self check-in instructions were very clear. The view in the house was beautiful. It has 2 balconies to view the Bled Island. The house was clean and the kitchen was also well equipped. I felt like staying at home indeed.

Cons: Nothing.

Probably the best spot on the lake

Pros: Struggle to see how there is a better place to stay on the lake. The view from the balconies is stunning and the beach, lookout trails, shop/restaurant and other amenities are easily walkable.

Cons: There is no air conditioning in one of the bedrooms (not an issue for us as we were able to use the four beds in the main bedroom) and the property does need some renovation. With view, location & general feel, though, it’s still worth it.

Wish we’d booked a week!

Pros: Wonderful views, house was ideal, just as the pictures showed, location just 5 min walk or take path direct from house to the lake and main footpath.

Cons: Nothing, it had everything we needed!

Simply wonderful.

Pros: Everything. The most spectacular location, words simply cannot capture the views from the balcony. A beautiful family home with all the accoutrements that make it feel incredibly welcoming and simply a lovely place to be. A short drive into town for all your needs, but also the ability to walk around the lake - and the sheer beauty of it all - is difficult to properly describe. Maja our host was responsive, kind and warm to deal with. In many travels, this is easily one of, if not our most very favourites.

Cons: Absolutely nothing. A perfect stay.

Sovica is a fairy tale cottage in a fairy tale location.

Pros: Sovica is a piece of paradise. It was the most incredible place we stayed in Europe. It is a fairy tale location, the best on lake Bled. It is sweet and humble, nestled in the trees on a quiet road close to the walking trail and a there is a great tavern just down the hill. You could sit on the deck and watch the boats on the lake, listen to the church bells and take in the distant mountains all day.

Cons: Not one thing could have been improved. We were unsure about the water heater and accidentally turned it off but rectified the problem.

Pros: Location, you will never get a view like this anywhere else. Its amazing. Close ,to walk to the lake. Everything you need , BBQ , we spent most of our time on the balcony in glorious sunshine.
