Charming blacksmith`s house @ Lake Bohinj

Unique and a delight

Pros: Location is gorgeous and the old building beautifully restored and enhanced with quirky decoration. So quiet and delightful rural and mountain views. The church bells next door are a bonus!

Cons: The bedding especially in the main bedroom was disappointing. There was just an undersized oversheet of rough texture and two lumpy duvets

A quirky and unique house in a tranquil setting

Pros: The location was fantastic. It was in a sleepy town, near the lake. We wanted to be away from the crowds and this a perfect place to relax. The house is 200 years old, so that appealed to us as it was a bit quirky. There was lots of interesting artwork throughout the house. Overall it was a really different house, which we enjoyed. It felt spacious and we enjoyed sitting outside in the morning, looking towards the village and the hills. Samo was a great host and we appreciated his warm welcome.

Cons: Like others have said, the kitchen is small. It was sufficient for our needs but may not be to everyone's liking.

We had a really good time in Stara Fuzina!

Pros: Warm welcome by Samo and we felt well taken care of during our entire stay! The location and proximity to Lake Bohinj could not be better! We would certainly come back to Stara Fuzina again. The house itself is rather old and so is most of the equipment. But the advantage of this building was that it remains nicely cool inside on a hot summer night. Having 3 bedrooms was a big plus for us! Also there was a spare mountainbike available for use which was another nice-to-have.

Cons: As said, the interior of the house is rather outdated and the kitchen very tiny. Cooking for a whole family might be challenging, but it did not bother us at all.

Pros: Sehr uriges gemütliches Haus mit Kaminofen. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Man kommt sehr gut zurecht. Sehr freundlicher Ansprechpartner in der Nachbarschaft der gut deutsch spricht und versteht. Das Haus ist sehr zentral gelegen und man kommt super überall von dort aus hin. Nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeiten direkt im Dorf, keine 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Einige Sehenswürdigkeiten direkt in der Nähe.

Ein kleines Urlaubsparadies

Pros: Das Haus ist genau wie auf den Bildern beschrieben. Gastgeber Samo hat uns mit offenen Armen begrüßt und stets ein Lachen parat. Er spricht sehr gut deutsch, hat uns mit allen Informationen über das Haus und die Region versorgt und war stets auch persönlich ansprechtbar, da er nur wenige Meter entfernt wohnt. Die Region ist einfach toll. Man kann soooo viel unternehmen. Dafür empfehle ich die Tourimus-Karte für die Region mit der man an vielen Stellen sparen kann. Diese Karte bekommt man auch von Samo.

Pros: sehr sympathische Besitzer/ Gastgeber, wundervolle Aussicht und Garten, einerseits abgeschieden und gleichzeitig schnell beim See und Restaurant zu Fuß
