Perfect place to relax

Pros: Very charming place, perfect if you visit the caves. The building have been very well refurbished and it has timber roofs. Rooms are beatiful and confortable. Breakfast is a dream! And you can have dinner there too which was really good too.

Charming rustic hostel with cozy rooms and warm hospitality

Pros: Charming and cozy hostel with a rustic vibe, beautifully designed rooms that felt fresh and inviting. The breakfast was outstanding, and the hosts were warm and welcoming. We will definitely use this accommodation again in the future.

A cosy hostel in a small and quiet village, close to the amazing Škocjan Caves

Pros: The room was comfortable, the green and shady backyard garden was lovely, the hostel bistro with its outdoor terrace was nice and lively in the evening, and the breakfast was excellent.

Cons: Communication with the staff could have been better - when we checked in we were told that the chef would not be around that evening and therefor we would not be able to have dinner at the hostel. We were surprised to find the hostel bistro opened and full of guests in the evening - after we had already driven to the nearby town to purchase some food and wine...

Great atmosphere…contact them and order the dinner and breakfast …

Pros: Everybody was very friendly and helpful, we brought pled a nice double room with own bathroom . If you like to cook yourself … there is a little kitchenette in the hostel, but we booked the dinner (4 courses by Jure the chief). This was a very good decision- we also booked the breakfast the next morning. We were very satisfied - don’t expect a restaurant….its just the chief (and boss ) and yourself at a table on the porch…very good atmosphere and very good dinner.

Perfect stay in every aspect possible

Pros: The Hostel has a very authentic and homely feel to it. The staff could not be more accommodating and friendly, they go the extra mile for you. The food they provide is delicious and all locally produced. The beds are also very comfortable. As for the location it is perfect less than 5 minutes walk from the caves. Also it’s so peaceful and quiet I enjoyed a daily swim in the river close by. Overall I don’t think you could desire a better place to stay and for the price it is the best value for money stay you can get.
