Traditional homestead Guhar in Radovna

Pros: Accommodation was beautiful and authentic; everything was functional and clean. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped – nothing was missing for everyday cooking. Excellent value for money. We came for skiing, but in summer it’s also right in the center and close to many great activities that Slovenia has to offer. It’s an old house, but everything was functional and the house was sufficiently warm.

Pros: The house is at a beautiful location. It is next to a road, but not many cars pass by since it’s in a valley. There is a meadow behind the house, and trees all around it. Deer were feeding on grass every morning and evening next to the house. We loved how spacious the house was, for 9 adults there was no problem with feeling overcrowded. We also loved the old tile stove, which was a bit difficult to operate, but you don’t have to use it. Urška is a wonderful host, she waited for us at the place and showed us everything. The house, even though it’s so big and kind of old, was perfectly clean. The service she provided was great.

Cons: The mattresses were too soft for us, but for some people they might be suitable. But we all agreed that we like ours to be more firm. There was also no kettle in the kitchen, which was just surprising to us, since we’re so used to having them in every kitchen. It could be handy in the morning, when we were all leaving early for skiing and needed to make some tea. However, it’s not the end of the world to boil water in a pot.

Relaxing, enchanting, highly recommended

Pros: We self catered. Kitchen facilities very good though freezer space was small. The setting is enchanting. A historic cottage, spacious and clean. Magnificent views from the window and extremely peaceful. Very quiet but at the same time not far from popular and beautiful sites. Urska our host is very welcoming and helpful.

Cons: A washing machine would be helpful.

Pros: Un cadre INCROYABLE, vraiment splendide en plein milieu de la nature, tous les soirs et matins on avait du gibier autour de la maison, un vrai bonheur !

Cons: Ça reste une maison un peu rustique, il ne faut pas s'attendre au plus grand luxe, mais le cadre compensé tellement bien !

Pros: Es ist ein wahnsinnig schönes Haus in fantastischer Lage.

Cons: Bedauerlicherweise hat das Haus nur eine Dusche, dennoch war es mit 9 Personen unproblematisch. Es mussten eben alle nacheinander duschen. Der Kühlschrank könnte auch etwas größer sein.

Pros: The location was excellent. There is peace, tranquility, privacy and a gorgeous view

Cons: The owners of the house were not there to receive us. When we needed a mop to wash the floor, or extra toilet paper, they refused to supply us. There was wifi reception only on the lower floor. There was only one shower.
