MS Sparrow Hostel

Good stay overall

Pros: Kitchen with everything you need. A supermarket and a bus stop nearby. Small hostel. There were lots of information about the city and what bus you need to take on the wall, I find these information very helpful. You can borrow some books as well. The room was pretty spacious. Personal locker. Modern bed. 3 showers and 2 toilets for women. Plug next to the bed but no small lamp. A hand towel is provided. Soap and paper towel in the bathroom.

Cons: Quite far to the city centre unless you use public transports. No staff at all !! This is a very very quiet hostel, on the first day, I was the only one in the hostel (it was a bit awkward) and in the evening, a few more travellers came as well. During my stay, there was a towel + some clothes into the bathroom that probably belong to previous guests and no one removed them, they look like they have been there for quite some time. The lockers and the floor in my room were not very clean. The room overlooks a large boulevard so when we opened the window, it was very noisy. Stairs to access the hostel. This is not a busy hostel but good if you wanna have some rest. A bit expensive for a hostel.

Pros: Absolutely great value for the price, very quiet and clean property, the host is nice and helpful in case you need anything. There's a shared kitchen with every possible appliance. The location is around 2 km from the centre but there's a bus that takes you there in just around 10 mins. Greatly recommend this hostel

Pros: Good little kitchen, not that sociable but made friends in my room. Staff helpful and happy to help and suggest things to do.

Cons: Location was 40min walk out of the city so not really that good esp when the buses didnt always run.

A wonderful surprise !

Pros: I was so agreeably surprised by this hostel! At first, it seems a bit weird since it is hidden, you don't really see it from the street. But then, you enter in a very cosy, clean small building, decorated with taste. The owner was kind, helpful, available at any time. He came everyday to do the cleaning, to make sure everything was in order. I loved the bed, it was so comfortable, and I met so many good people during my time there. Just in front of the hostel, a bus station and within 10min you're downtown... Perfect!

Cons: To be honest, nothing really. The owner is so gentle, nothing to worry about!

Amazing hostel

Pros: This was a great hostel. It was quiet, very very clean. Great Wifi, great vibes. The owner was attentive and I had a great great time there.

Cons: It was perfect. It is a bit far, but if you dont want to walk you can always catch a bike. If I come back to Slovenia I will go back there.

Good Cheap Option if you dont need Luxury

Pros: The Hostel was close to an Event Location, which was the Reason for my Visit. You have Restaurants, a Supermarket, Bakery and Bus Stop Close by. Its a good cheap accommodation Option if you dont mind sharing a Room, its nit big but sufficient

Comfy and friendly

Pros: I liked the fact that it was a bit smaller than some hostels and the people were very friendly. I especially liked the approach of the owner, who was super helpful and had no problem with helping me when I needed a place to leave my bags during the last day until my bus was leaving.

Cons: The only thing is that it is a bit further from the city center, but when you take the city bike it is about 15 minutes to the main bus station, so it’s perfectly fine :)

Good value for money, recommended!

Pros: Very clean, well-equipped kitchen, good wifi, nice staff :)

Cons: The location is a bit far away from the city centre for a small city such as Ljublana, but doable by bus or by walking around 30 mins on foot. Also, no common area outside of the small kitchen, which makes it more difficult to meet people. Still good value for money, recommended :)

Pros: Dobro. The people, very kind. I have a lot of bagages and Denis helpt me whit them. Is possible to do a late check out, and leave the things on the reception. The people have a beautiful kitchen and toilet whit shower, if you need to take a shower then of the check out. And this is so good, because i go to kolodvor o stanica bus at 23:00 on the night. Hvala i Vidimo se sljedeci put.

Cons: Tutto bene. Dobroo.

The best hostel near Stozice Arena

Pros: All corners were clean, including the toilet, the separate shower room, and the kitchen. Bus stops in front of the building. A supermarket and some restaurants in the vicinity, so even if not in the city center, you will not have troubles finding something to eat.

Cons: The rate could be lower. Other than that, this hostel is perfect.
