Sax Pub Hostel Ljubljana

Pros: Perfect location! Very pleasant street with options for food and drinks. We also liked Sax pub, one of the best in town! The chalet was clean and comfortable! In total we had a great stay there!

Cons: Only drawback was access to the toilet from the chalet. For the toilet you need to enter the main building which is challenging at night as you need to unlock two doors! During our stay, it happened that one night we could't unlock the main entrance!

Pros: Very nice location, in a very quiet area and just steps from Ljubljana's pedestrian area. The attached pub is also very nice, and the music can't be heard from the rooms. I really appreciated that the staff at the pub that also runs the hostel intervened to calm down my noisy room neighbors.

Pros: Sax Pub is in a great location, just outside the pedestrian zone, and is close to lots of restaurants. The hostel was very clean and was very quiet, even though it was backing on to the pub.

Pros: Overall fair stay! Staff is actually very nice contrary to most reviews saying they’re not around - I got to meet some of them :) Sockets fairly close to each bed, big locker (just need to bring a padlock), towels for no extra fee, bathroom is also ok. It’s also clean enough and the location is almost at the border of the city centre. The walk by the river is pretty chill.

Cons: Two showers might make you wait a little bit to use the bathroom, but nothing that ruins the experience. The crowd might be a bit odd as well, but on my last night I actually got to meet a few people and the vibes were amazing. There is indeed noise from the pub downstairs but nothing absurd and I don’t think it goes later than ~ midnight.

Pros: It is a shared dormitory. It was very clean. The bathrooms are also very clean. There is a box to keep your things, but you must buy a lock before you come. There is also a small bar under the residence and adjacent rooms that stay open until midnight. Loud noises.

Pros: A cool place. A bar/hostel combo in a great location near the river. Good prices, in the bar and for the hostel.

Pros: Really nice environment, nicely decorated and very clean. Well equipped kitchen. Walking distance to the old town.

Cons: The wifi wasn't working for the duration of my stay. However, it was my understanding that this was a temporary issue.

Pros: The location is perfect, ten minutes from the centre and 30 minutes walking from the bus station. The area is very quiet and pleasant.

Basic, affordable and able to store luggage

Pros: I was there for just one night prior to hiking in the mountains and I was very happy that I was able to leave my luggage there during my hike. Room was small but adequate for the price 30 minutes walk from railway station and main bus station. Handy to the centre
