Glamping Tinka

Pros: The view is the best part of the place. It is located halfway up the remote ~6km road leading to the tiny village of Cadrg (there are only like 30 houses along the entire road). The owners live next to the glamping hut - they have a beautiful garden :) - so you can easily reach them in case of emergencies. They also have a cafe next to it (be aware it is only opened on Fri Sat Sun so bring food if you arrive on a different day). I was expecting there to be multiple glamping huts but there is only one, so you will be the only guests. This was a nice surprise, very peaceful! The host was very friendly; when we arrived he offered us a drink from his little cafe, even though it was closed that day. The facilities live up to the expectation of glamping. It has everything you need, including air conditioning, a small fridge, tiny cooking station and some pans. Wifi works well, and you can pay with credit/debit card!

Stunning location and beautiful property.

Pros: Beautiful location right on the mountain side with amazing views. The property was really cosy and peaceful even in the rain! The host was really welcoming and provided us with welcome drinks!

Cons: Nothing! Shame the restaurant wasn’t open but will have to visit again to try!

Faultless - Will be back!

Pros: The entirety of our stay was second to none! Welcoming - Franco was equal to the location (a warm, friendly welcome with Schnapps in hand!). Location - Overlooking the town of Tolmin down below and the surroundings hills and gorges (as long as you're ok with uphill, single track lanes leading to the property - a definite adventurous drive). Facilities - All extremely clean and everything you need e.g. single hob, kettle, variety of teas, cook utencils, pots and pans, pristine toilet facilities, hand soap, clean sleeping area. Powerful, adjustable air-conditioning unit (when we stayed at Glamping Tinka it was approx. 30+ degrees during the day so this provided a welcome reprieve). Useful guides/books on the local area and all that it has to offer

Cons: That we only stayed at Glamping Tinka for 1 night and that we didn't have chance to sample the food and drink available at Franco's restaurant!

Pros: Accomodation is very nice. Friendly host and his dog. We will definitely come back.

Pros: The location is fantastic, immersing you in nature with great views, peace and quiet. The charming little house is well-equipped with everything you need. The host was exceptionally helpful.

Glamping Tinka is not just a remarkable place to stay, it’s an experience on it’s own.

Pros: The host and the view are superb! The airconditioning was a big plus.

Cons: The road to the glamping is a bit tricky, but it was totally worth it!

Pros: It was just perfekt!!! Everything was right. We had a wonderful view. The owner was so friendly. When we arrived he give us a welcome beer :-) The cottage was clean and has everything you need. It was the best accommodation on our tour through Slovenia!!!

Pros: It was an amazing stay. The location is a bit tricky to get to, but definitely worth the trek. Glamping pod is organised very well with a private bathroom on the side. The owner was super attentive and we loved his friendly dog, too.
