Apartments Mencinger

Lovely and clean apartment, would recommend!

Pros: It was such a well equipped and clean apartment, with a lovely view and a very nice hostess. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting! Very spacious with two balconies, a big comfortable bed and good curtains to make the room nice and dark. Slept lovely there. Honestly, don’t doubt to book it, it’s great!

Cons: Everything was good.

Pros: We are delighted that we chose these apartments! The owner is a very warm and pleasant person. The apartments are super clean and cozy. The kitchen is fully equipped. The balcony with mountain views is incredible. After hiking days, we would drink tea there in the evenings and watch the sunsets. The location of the apartments is also excellent: for those without a car, or wanting to take a break from driving - there's a bus stop just 50 meters away. You can walk to the town center with grocery store, restaurants, bakeries, and a bank. Bohinjska Bistrica is a small, quiet, and very charming town. There's no tourist hustle and bustle here at all. From this town, it's convenient to visit Vogel, Bohinj, Bled, and other attractions. We traveled extensively through the mountains, and this was an ideal place to stay. If we were to visit here again, we would undoubtedly stay at Apartments Mencinger!

Brilliant stay

Pros: Vesna was the most friendly and helpful host we have met on this trip. She made us so welcome and even upgraded us to the appartment, where we could use the kitchen and enjoy views from the balcony. The bedroom was very spacious and kitchen was well equipped.

Cons: Nothing really. The bed was a bit too soft for our liking, but we slept well as it was very quiet.

Great value in Bohinjska Bistrica

Pros: Friendly, welcoming and very helpful/informative host. Big living area complete with spacious bedroom and kitchen as well as tv-room and fully adequate bathroom with shower. Great location - 10 minute walk to Bohinjska Bistrica town centre with excellent restaurants, bakery and cafe, grocery stores and a pharmacy. Also a 10 minute walk to the train station.

Cons: That we reserved only one night.

Exceptional stay

Pros: Very warm and cozy, facilities are well stocked and clean. The host is overwhelmingly pleasant.

Cons: That we didn't have time to stay longer.

A great apartment to spend a few days

Pros: A lovely, spacious, well equipped apartment. Great location in a gorgeous little village, handy to lake bled and Bohinj so a good spot for exploring the area. Quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony looking at the mountains. We would definitely stay there again. Good value for money

Cons: Ceiling over one of the beds was sloping so you have to be careful not to bump your head if tall (not a bug problem)

Pros: Vesna was very nice and most helpful, providing advice about local cycle paths and places to visit. My apartment had very nice views of the surrounding hills and had everything I needed for my stay. Highly recommend.

Pros: Lovely host who told us the highlights in the neighbourhood when we arrived. The bed was really comfortable and the apartment was spacious. We enjoyed our stay here!

Cozy place in the Bohinj

Pros: It was really a pleasant stay - homeowner Vesna welcomed us upon arrival and provided all the necessary information. Apartment is cozy, spacious enough for 2 people, with great view and really comfy chairs in the balcony. A lot of well thought details in the apartment.
