Pros: Absolutely loved my stay! The accommodation was spotless, cozy, and perfectly located. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free experience. Can’t wait to come back!

In the lap of pristine nature

Pros: The location was beautiful and in the middle of nature while being part of a small town. The hills, overhanging clouds and the absolute quiet make it almost meditative. The property is not luxury but the price too is very reasonable for a large group or family. The best part is though the hosts Daniella and Damijan - absolutely lovely and very available

Cons: While it’s not a negative. An extra bathroom and stand fans will be helpful if needed

Amazing stay with truly wonderful hosts!

Pros: The house was super comfortable, clean, and in a great location. But what really made the difference were the hosts - so kind and welcoming! They greeted us with cold local drinks after arrival and even surprised us with homemade cake during our stay. Highly recommended!

Pros: We loved everything - the apartment, surroundings and hosts are amazing and the location is perfect for exploring the Soča valley.

Best place to stay in the Soca Valley

Pros: Beautiful spacious apartment, well equipped with all you need, even a barbecue grill and bikes we could use. Big garden, balcony and beautiful landscape around. We had a very good sleep at night in the comfortable beds and because of the quiet surroundings. Communication before arrival was fast, uncomplicated and very friendly. When we arrived the hosts welcomed us as if we belonged to the family, which we hadn't experienced before... such a great and special hospitality. Cookies on the table and some cold drinks in the fridge were prepared. The hosts gave us a lot of helpful tips and inside information for beautiful places to visit, some hidden gems and very good restaurants. All in all it was a perfect stay and we can only recommend to everyone to stay at HišaŠmihelka during their time in the Soca Valley. We are looking forward to our next stay! :)

Beautiful location with wonderful hosts!

Pros: We loved the apartment- a walk into Kobarid but not a difficult one. Danijela and Damijan were lovely hosts!

Very nice accommodation in beautiful region

Pros: Liked everything: perfect accommodation (good beds, shower, airco,…), good equipment in the kitchen, very nice hosts with good advice! We hope to come back in the near future. Favourite region in Slovenia for me. Starting from the house there is a very nice walking path, had lovely walks/runs in the mornings. Activities we liked most: canyoning with Abyss adventures, zip line above Ucja valley, swimming in Nadiza river and taking the car train to Bohinj for our further trip to Bled. Highly recommended!

Cons: Nothing! Only wished we could stay longer :-)

Perfect peaceful place to stay and feel at home

Pros: Everything, especially the hosts that were so kind and helpful, and the garden with such a beautiful view. The apartment was great. We will come back longer next time to enjoy even more the region!
