A pleasant getaway

Pros: Welcoming and friendly owner, great view from the beautiful terrace and the loft. Very clean and well equipped (including the small delights such as coffee, sugar, salt ...). We stayed comfortably with kids. The surrounding nature and sights are beautiful, and we will definitely return to explore this part of Slovenia. Relaxing as well as intriguing.

The owner is super friendly. It is a very comfortable stay and the apartment is well located

Pros: It’s one minute’s drive to Smartno but you can park the car right at the door here. The amenities are very good. The owner left usvfresh cherries from his garden. He offered some more upon our departure.

Cons: Some other guests walked by the small path outside of the apartment to get into the garden. The easily looked into our apartment if the curtain is not drawn. Drawing the curtain, however, makes the apartment very dark. It is a ground floor unit which is understandable though.

Good value for money

Pros: The accommodation is conveniently located amidst Brda’s main points of interest. The host was pleasant, helpful and appreciated our feedback regarding the area’s hospitality. The apartment itself was spacious and fully equipped, making it ideal for a few days’ getaway to enjoy Brda.

Cons: No flaws were identified.

Pros: Perfect accommodation and really sweet and helpful hosts. Enjoying a glass of wine from the cellar in the garden was amazing. Great spot for exploring around.

Stunning views, comfortable apartment and great base for cycling around Brda

Pros: The stunning views from the apartment and garden were magnificent, even better than the photos indicate. Villa Azul is a great location to explore Brda and beyond. There are wineries and restaurants within walking distance. The neighbours were always available and took great care of us. Simon was very responsive with the couple of questions we had.

Cons: Nothing specific.

Scenery compensates a lot

Pros: Scenery towards the wideyeards from the top stairs window and garden is really wonderful. Wine tasting oppurtunities in many places in Brda - and wine of course.

Cons: The top floor is very low - not high sufficient for persons over 170 cm and partly the apartment is even lower. The other sleeping room is not a proper one. \

Pros: Il proprietario Karlo e la moglie sono stati davvero accoglienti e gentili. Davvero apprezzata l’accoglienza con un buon caffè e dei biscotti. Abbiamo soggiornato nel mini appartamento ricavato dalla soffitta della casa: era tutto molto pulito e presentava il necessario per il soggiorno. La cucina è essenziale ma adeguata. La zona è davvero tranquilla, con una vista spettacolare, vicina ad alcune cantine. La temperatura, molto bassa all’esterno visto il periodo (dicembre/gennaio), era più che adeguata all’interno.

Cons: Credo sarebbe da specificare meglio che l’appartamento ha soffitti spioventi, in alcuni punti bassi (come già detto da alcuni utenti). Sarebbe da specificare meglio che non ci sono 2 stanze effettive, bensì una stanza da letto + 2 letti posizionati nel salotto (per noi non è stato un problema, ma credo sia specificare tali dettagli).

Pros: Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber und Super Lage! Auto bequem im Innenhof zu Parken. Gerne wieder.

Pros: Het uitzicht, de mooie tuin en omgeving Brda regio. Aardige eigenaren.

Cons: Binnen vraagt om iets meer tlc. Zeker gezien de prachtige buiten omgeving. Er was ook een sauna en hottub, wat leuke verassing was maar dat zou ik zeker in de advertentie zetten.
