Pros: Bernarda, Hanna, and Ubald are truly exceptional hosts! They welcomed us with wine and made us feel right at home. One of the highlights was the unforgettable wine tasting evening, paired with mouthwatering food—don’t even think about going elsewhere for wine tasting! Ubald’s wines are simply outstanding. The property itself is spotless and beautifully maintained, with everything brand new. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the beds were perfect for a restful night, and breakfast was absolutely delicious. We’re already dreaming of coming back! The location is ideal for exploring the surrounding area, which feels like a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. Highly recommended for anyone seeking charm, comfort, and authentic hospitality.

Lovely location, very comfortable and good service

Pros: The hotel is a good mix between beautiful classic elements and modern comfort (fully up to date bathroom and airconditioning in the room). The owners are very kind, welcoming and helpful (good restaurant recommendations). The breakfast is very fresh with local products such as cold cuts, multiple jams, sweets (cookies and cake) and grape juice. Different types of eggs can be made on request but we enjoyed the ham and cheese omelet that was made.

Absolute perfection

Pros: Sometimes in life you stumble across the most wonderful experiences, this was one of them! Bernada and her family were the most beautiful hosts. Our stay started with a glass of wine (their own lovely wine) and a warm conversation with 3 generations of the family. Their renovation of the property has been done beautifully, keeping the age of the building visible while making a very comfortable, modern space. The room was lovely, the best sheets I've ever slept in. We had a beautiful view out our window. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Bernada made an excellent dinner suggestion and booked for us. Everything was perfect, displaying our hosts warmth and generosity.

FANTASTIC PLACE TO BE

Pros: A simple amazing places - amazing not because of the walls, the rooms or the breakfast, but because of this wonderful family who made all these become alive! Therefor it is the perfect place for visiting this beautiful region - feeling not like in a hotel, but being welcomed in a family: Sitting in the evening on the big table with them and other guests, drinking the (fantastic!) wine produced by them, eating prosciutto and salami, produced by them - THIS is what makes day in Brda magic - THANKS!!!

Cons: They have been hosts just for a few months (everything is still brand-new). Especially in the rooms and the breakfast (I´m not talking about the excellency of the food) there're things which could be improved. But I'm shure they will very quickly learn from their experiences...

Odlična nastanitev v Brdih

Pros: Super izkušnja, prav gotovo še pridem. Okolica, sprejem ob prihodu, ker smo bili v času martinovanja smo dobili kozarček rujnega ob dobrodošlici. Priporočam.

We had a lovely evening in the courtyard. One of the best of our entire trip.

Pros: The hosts were amazing and went out of their way to make us welcome. It was fun to buy wine to take with us as we went on our way to other Slovenian locations. The room was fresh, clean and comfortable. We loved that it was a community location. The breakfast was extensive with many options.

Cons: There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Excellent stay and host. Would stay there again

Pros: we were greeted like a part of the family. The entire hotel is very clean and both room and bed are very spacious and comfy. The meals are homemade from scratch and delicious.

Cons: There was nothing there to dislike. Everything was perfect!
