Pros: We enjoyed this rustic historic property and a lovely quiet walk around Smartno early morning. The breakfast was outstanding. A beautifully curated selection of the region's delicious food. The hostess was super friendly.

Perfect winery area vacation

Pros: Its location and its friendly helpful staff. Eva was lovely. Šmartno is a gorgeous town.

Cons: Only that the restaurant wasn’t open during our stay, I would have loved to sample the local cuisine.

Pros: Wonderful place to stay. It's a unique Hotel family owned and operated with a high level of service and comfort. It is located in one of the Best area of Slovenia.

Picturesque village but room was a disappointment.

Pros: The village is picturesque although it is extremely small. Perched on a hill top, the views across the vineyards are incredible. The common areas and the outside of the hotel have plenty of character and charm and the restaurant is great for dinner.

Cons: Our room had no view apart from the roof of another building. The “balcony” as advertised in the description of the room is shared with 2 other rooms and is really just a common entrance to all 3 rooms as opposed to a balcony. The room lacks natural light and feels dated.

Pros: Everíthing was just amazing! The best place ever! True gem! The food, the staff, the location, the vibe, the cleannes, the friendlyness, oooooh, the BREAKFAST!!!! with big capitals!!! :) :) :) we will come back for sure!
