Pros: Lovely room in a quiet location close to the mountains and lake. Lovely balcony. Great host who offered laundry service for a few after days hiking in the mountains. Short walk to the lake and grocery store less than a minute away.

Cons: No access to cooking facilities. Bed was a bit soft but the host let us take off the mattress topper which helped a lot.

Pros: Great place to stay, comfy clean room with a great view from the balcony and everything in walking distance!

A cozy place to get a good rest before going out on the hiking trail.

Pros: A great place to stay for people planning to hike in the Triglav Narodni Park. Very close to a shop, a bus stop from where you can easily go to the starting points of most trails, and not far away from a town from which you can get a bus back to central Slovenia. The room itself was good size, with a bathroom and a balcony with the view of the mountains. We had very limited interaction with the host but when we did, she was eager to help us.

Cons: The lack of any kitchen space is a small minus for the people with specific dietary needs.

Perfect Stay Near Lake Bohinj

Pros: We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming Slovenian apartment just a short 10-minute walk from the stunning Lake Bohinj. The location is ideal—peaceful & scenic. The apartment itself was spotless and beautifully maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It felt like a true home away from home. The owners were warm, welcoming, and friendly. If you're looking for a clean, cozy place with heartwarming hospitality and unbeatable access to nature, this is it.

Pros: A lovely traditional room in the beautiful village of Stara Fazina. The whole house was spotlessly clean with many thoughtful touches provided such as cutlery, plates, bowls and a fridge and kettle. We loved sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine after a busy active day in nature. And the walk across the pastures to the lake and into town was an absolute bonus!

Pros: Accommodation was very clean and cozy. Great location – a shop right next door, the information center just across the street, and Bohinj lake within walking distance. The owners were really nice and helpful. Feel free to ask them for anything! My friends and I really enjoyed our stay here!

Nice room to stay while hiking

Pros: Very good location Very clean room Good bed and cover, warm. With a small terras.

Cons: Very small room. No table to sit at to eat breakfest for instance. There was only room for a bed.

Wonderful stay with great hosts

Pros: Wonderful host who has thought about absolutely every little detail. Good room with wide bed and nice balcony with a fridge, water kettle, a box with crockery and cutlery, a cutting board, a bowl for washing-up, washing-up liquid, tea towel and kitchen paper. I did some washing by hand in a bowl the landlady kindly lent me. She would have done our washing in her machine, but it wasn’t much and I preferred to do it myself. Very friendly couple that have hosted visitors for my years. The location is also great: good views from the balcony, situated on a high street but never noisy. On the Juliana Trail which we were walking. Not far from lake Bohinj and Ribcev Laz. Stara Fuzina is beautifully located.

Cons: I bumped into the side of the bed several times because of the shape of the back board, but otherwise it was very comfortable.
