Fantastic!

Pros: Would highly recommend. The hosts are extremely friendly and welcoming. The food is home made and really tasty. The hosts try their best to cater to all your needs. There are also some happy looking cows.

Cons: The only issue was that there was no hand soap in the toilet.

Real home away from home

Pros: We had a fabulous stay at Dom Pristava. We’re actually coming back to stay there again. Highly recommended. Beautiful location, everything is clean, owners / staff are super friendly, nothing is an issue. Great breakfast too!

Pros: The property was great. The location was stunning, beds were comfortable and the food was great. If you are looking for a very unique hostel this is the one for you.

Very pleasant in a natural setting

Pros: The room is simple, everything is just fine. Good meals. Relaxed, quiet place, away from the tourist crowds. It's a long hike to the top of the ridge and the best views.

Cons: Breakfast starts too late

Beautiful location for a relaxing stay

Pros: Beautiful location, big house with a restaurant and nice beds.

Cons: Only one shower wasn’t really the best for my friend group of 9 people.

Pros: The environment is amazin, and the hospitality of the owners and staff was wonderful. They are really friendly, and thoughtful!

Cons: The number of toilets and showers might not be sufficient in case there are guests in most rooms.

A remote place of serene beauty and warm hospitality

Pros: Our two weeks of Juliana Trail backpack trekking started in Dom Pristava and we have fallen in love with the charm and warm hospitality of this remote place in the mountains above Jesenice. The hotel building is very old with thick walls so cool and quiet at night. Rooms and shared bathrooms are simple but comfortable and super clean. Owners are lovely people, super helpful and flexible, it was no problem to have a late home made dinner. The location is simply fantastic, with a large grass terrace overshadowed by a couple of ages old trees. We changed our holiday schedule to end our hiking adventure where it started and we will always remember Dom Pristava as a place a serene beauty and warm Slovenian hospitality.

A little piece of heaven

Pros: This place is a charm, you just feel relaxed with all the nature surrondings, if you have young children there is a playground and you can enjoy some really homemade delicious food. The room was clean and confortable. The hosts are the most kind people, they go beyond to make their guests feel at home. Our car had a problem at 7:30 on a sunday and Joze, the host, did everything to help us.
