Cosy place

Pros: We stayed at the accommodation for two nights. We really liked the rooms — all the wooden details created a warm and cozy atmosphere, and the little corner with a sofa and two armchairs was perfect for long late-night conversations. In the morning, we also enjoyed breakfast at the property, which was excellent (eggs, cold cuts, bread, spreads, coffee). What we missed in the rooms was a trash bin (there was only a small one in the bathroom). What bothered us a bit was the unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom drain and the towels, which smelled damp. Since our room hadn’t been used for a while, there were some dead insects on the floor. The first night we also didn’t have hot water, which wasn’t a technical issue — we just needed to let the water run longer, as the system is one-way. It would be good to inform guests about this upon arrival. Otherwise, all compliments to the friendly owner and his grandson (and also a cleaning lady), who were always available and helpful.

Fabulous discovery, well worth a stay.

Pros: Stunning room overlooking the valley. Breakfast was wonderful. Lovely host rolled out the red carpet for us. Get up early to see the mist in the valley below. The village is gorgeous and came as a big surprise when we went for a walk.

Beautiful location and friendly staff

Pros: The view was beyond amazing! Our balcony looked directly out over the valley and the mountains beyond. The staff were helpful and let us check in early when we got an earlier train in. Breakfast was delicious as was dinner in the restaurant, including vegetarian options.

It was optimal accommodation for around trips to Bled Lake, Bohinj Lske, caves and castles

Pros: The room was good value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fairly simple but good.

Beautiful location in a really nice town.

Pros: Beautiful views. The owner was lovely, Jakob let us use the bikes he was very nice.

Cons: The cleaner shouted at my partner for leaving a glass in the room, so just make sure if you have a drink from the bar you take it back.

Gorgeous views

Pros: The location, wonderful spacious balcony overlooking a stunning valley. Ideally situated next to the train station. Very nice restaurant

Pros: The accommodation was in a great location, close to the old town, with a beautiful view. The food at the restaurant was delicious, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were very kind.

Cons: The terrace could use a renovation, but the view made up for everything 🙂
