Travellers' Haven Hostel

Loved it here! Was a social hostel without partying which I loved! Felt like a home away from home

Pros: Colleen is an amazing host. She took me to the doctors when I was sick and was always around to make sure everyone and everything was ok. The place is in a great location just a short walk from the main bus stop and the lake. Everything was very clean and the rooms were comfortable with curtains which were great.

Cons: The kitchen got a bit crowded at peak meal time but I just cooked my food in advance to avoid chaos so it was ok!

Pros: Great location, only 5 minutes from the bus station. Hostel manager is so lovely and friendly. Easy to make meals here.

Pros: This is by far the best hostel I have ever stayed in! Colleen is a fabulous host: cheerful, incredibly helpful and always offering a good piece of advice. If you are looking for a place where you can have a good night sleep and at the same time socialise and make new friends - look no further. The hostel has everything you might need and, compared to other places I had been to, the beds are really comfy. After five nights here, I am sad to leave but taking some great memories with me. Thank you for everything, Colleen!

Excellent!

Pros: The atmosphere of the place was incredible. Colleen managed to create a warm environment where l felt very comfortable and welcomed. It felt more like staying in a shared home than in a typical hostel. Everything was well-maintained. Honestly, it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Colleen is always ready to help you with your itinerary or anything else. I highly recommend this hostel.

Cons: Just a few things to improve: noisy AC, add lockers in the rooms and more room to hang your stuff in the bathroom

A wonderful hostel with a comfy share house vibe thanks to the incredible host Colleen!

Pros: The vibe of the place was just amazing. Colleen has created such a comfortable, homely environment where everyone can feel welcome and at ease. It felt more like being in a share house than a touristy hostel. Everything was kept nice and clean, we were welcome to towels and fresh linens, and there was free food in the kitchen, which was also really well-equipped. Definitely one of the best hostel experiences I’ve had. Not to mention Bled is absolutely gorgeous and full of fun things to do!

Lovely place to stay

Pros: Great little place in Bled, perfect to base yourself for exploring the area. We wish we could have stayed longer (had to go back to work). Colleen was friendly and welcoming and very helpful. The ac was lovely and cold and the bed was comfortable. Easy to find and in a good location!

Pros: Colleen the owner was great and helpful! There are towels for free- does not happen in hostels much! Good kitchen with all the appliances!

Young audience, private room, great location

Pros: A nice place with young audience. There's a kitchen to make your food/drinks, shared bathrooms were good. Toilets on every floor The location was convenient with a shop and laundry in front, bus station at a couple hundred meters, as well as a nice cafeteria.

Cons: The air-conditioning (which we needed because of the temperature) was noisy, but earplugs did the trick!

Highly recommend!

Pros: The host is no nonsense but very kind and funny. The lounge and balcony space is a nice place to socialise. There is plenty of bathroom space. Everything is kept clean.

Cons: The kitchen is on the small side for the number of guests, but you can make do :)

Pros: Colleen is absolutely amazing she was so helpful and made it feel like home. She went above and beyond to help us, she was friendly and gave us recommendations on places to go, transport and food. I would recommend this hostel to anyone everyone is friendly and perfect for groups or solo travellers.
