Bohinj Eco Hotel

A nice ski weekend

Pros: Breakfast and dinner were fine, nothing spectacular, but as expected. Room was clean and comfortable. We had a great time in the hotel bowling alley.

Cons: Hotel SPA and wellness is a public one, and hotel being located in the center of Bohinjska Bistrica, it was packed over the weekend. Hotel charges too many things extra (e.g. SPA towels). Ski busses to Vogel Ski center are scarce, so you have to drive by car.

Pros: Super hrana in lokacija. Prejela sva nadgradnjo sobe.

Good for family trips.

Pros: Nice hotel, direct connection with the aquapark, bowling, nice, big room, comfortable bed, beautiful village, nice staff.

Cons: A water boyler or teapot would have been appreciated.

Pros: The staff went into extra length to accommodate my request for a quiet room. I had a good night sleep.

Cons: The indoor swimming pool is in fact a wellness pool - unfortunately, too small to accommodate so many hotel guests, Not a place to rest - children shrieking and screaming at the top of their voice all the time; taking dives into the pool from all sides and jumping on swimmers' heads. Total mayhem. Parents are not doing their job. In fact, they even keep taking pictures and VIDEOS of their children on the pool without the consent of the people who find themselves in the frame up front.

Pros: The rooms were clean, nice balcony and view. Waterpark is nice. Staff mostly polite and helpful, except the angry guy that runs the bowling.

Cons: Rooms. There is no door between the rooms in a big family room. All the point of us taking two rooms was to get some privacy… Really uncomfortable pillows and sofa that opens into a bed. Wifi very weak. If you’re planning to work, it’s impossible. No kettle in the room, we had to ask for one + mugs. Everything is very basic for a 4 star premium’s hotel. Extra charges. Drinks at dinner are extra charge and aren’t cheap. Bowling is charged for. Check out is very early, 10:00 am. Feels like a lost day and every extra hour is charged for. Location. Near a wood industrial zone or something. For some reason they like to work into the night and make a lot of noise. Just us… While we stayed there was some conference, which if we knew about, we would definitely change dates, since it was very full and overcrowded.

As a regular customer (we were there many times) I was disappointed with the room.

Pros: Great as always, specially pool and meals, also we had some “troubles” with reservation dates and they managed all perfectly before we came.

Cons: First time we got room without balcony at the top floor, which was rather uncomfortable and with terrible view, but on the day of arrival I did not have energy to complain for better room. I think descriptions on booking can be missleading and that is why for fair amount of money we ended up with really bad/cheap room.

Pros: The staff is amazing very kind and caring. The food is dilicious and well rounded .Woud recomend the exclusive savnas they are very nice

Cons: The rooms would need a deep clean. There are stains on the carpets and walls. Chiped paint and used up pools.

Excellent hotel

Pros: Nice hotel, very friendly staff. The breakfast was very good. The location is convenient, right in the center of the city, in a nice park.

Cons: Nothing to complain about.

Okay

Pros: The nice girl at the front desk gave me some really good tips regarding hiking.

Cons: In the room, you could smell the septic tank - greznica

Pros: Very nice breakfast, nice size of the rooms, nice waterpark.

Cons: Most of the rooms don't have a bathtub.
