Romantic & aesthetically pleasing
Pros: There are hotels and then there are those special places that provide a soulful experience. Sunrise 7 is among the latter where everything has been thought through and then sprinkled with love, affection and warmth. The establishments concept of detox is evident, the room doesnt have a TV or a phone, WiFi has to be requested but your deeper need for soulful warmth, peace and love are offered generously. The rooms are bliss, comfy and pleasing. The food is prepared with passion and love. The ambience is simply soothing. Can't recommend this lovely hotel enough!

Perfect stay
Pros: We traveled quite a lot in 2025 and this was my favourite hotel. It’s a beautiful hotel in the middle of the mountains, with delicious local breakfast, friendly staff, an amazing sauna. My favourite part was the breakfast which offered a great selection of local food and there was good coffee as well. The room was comfortable and quiet.
Cons: The door in our bathroom would slowly open if we didn’t close it completely, this is such a minor detail in a otherwise perfect stay.

Incredible Food
Pros: Gregor is a superb host, with the perfect balance of confidence and service. The food is outstanding, we had the four course menu with paired wine. Every course was outstanding and unique. The breakfasts are similarly excellent.
Cons: We had hoped wellness facilities and treatments would be onsite with sauna included. This actually required pre-booking at €45 and the massage treatments are at a sister business which has indifferent reviews.

Loved my stay at Sunrise Spa Hotel in Slovenia — luxurious surroundings and exceptionally attentive
Pros: Amazing breakfast, I had a wonderful stay at the Sunrise Spa Hotel in Slovenia! The surroundings are absolutely luxurious — elegant interiors, beautiful spa facilities, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it perfect for relaxation. The staff were incredibly attentive and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Every detail was taken care of, and the service was exceptional throughout my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a serene and indulgent getaway. Loved staying here!

Pros: Sunrose 7 really stands out in the Bohinj area, modern and contemporary with large windows but still retaining a cosy alpine feel. The staff were brilliant. The location at tge edge of the village by the river was enchanting. Good selection at the breakfast buffet. We enjoyed the spa, another couple were enjoying it at the same time but this was fine, plenty of space to to enjoy the sauna/jacuzzi and then lounge separately. Brilliant wine menu. Delicious tasting menu in the evenings for dinner. I would 100% recommend and would love to come back!
Cons: Personally for me I am a big tea drinker and I like a small kettle in the hotel room, so maybe bring a travel kettle, but you can buy a tea in the bar downstairs!

Excellent all round
Pros: Excellent hotel. Very comfortable rooms, wonderful restaurant and helpful and friendly staff. We could not recommend it more. Great location in town but close enough to countryside to hike from the door or get in car for longer days out

A dream few nights at Lake Bohinj. Such a quaint hotel, designed for beauty and relaxation.
Pros: A charming boutique hotel with a beautiful outdoor area, superb wellness ( though not included in the price) and a homely and warm interior. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, very genuine and interested in us, they were helpful, professional and clearly were proud of and enjoyed working at Sunrose7. The breakfast was delicious with a good range of food / drinks and the evening set menu was absolutely perfect. The wine pairings, value for money and staff made the evening just faultless. Impeccable service and 5 star calibre food in a gorgeous setting.
