Boutique hotel Vila Planinka

Pros: Probably the best accommodation we have ever stayed in and the place where we felt most comfortable. The location, the view, the rooms, and every single detail of the hotel were exceptional. The food was fine-dining level, paired with some of the best wines we’ve ever had. A huge thank you to the entire wonderful staff, especially Vanesa and Marko — our friends. 😊

Pros: Incredibly nice design, beautiful room, everything thought through

Cons: Spa is small, but still nice. If there are more then 2 couples in spa there is not enough space , but to be fair hotel receptionists are managing that. What we did not like was the food variety for dinner and lunch. Option for lunch were very limited. As for dinner, there is only an option to have 4 course menu, which we did not want because it feels too much of food. For example we wanted to have some different option for a desert but there was only one option from the 4 course menu, no sweets in mini bar either . This place gives you a vibe where you want to have some local food, let’s say grilled trout with some local side dish, but they are offering michelin kind of experience, which in our opinion does not suit the location.

I wish I had time to stay longer … Outstanding!

Pros: Everything! Amazing staff, Marco Marija, Klemen, and amazing chef Jure are the names I can remember, however all staff were lovely. The food is out of this world and the bed was so comfortable! We will definitely be back.

One of a kind

Pros: Everything! We were really looked after by the super informative and wonderful staff. Excellent food (amazing tasting menu!), wine (incredible wine pairing), room with a balcony and a view of the mountains! Highly recommend dining in the hotel restaurant, the wine tasting workshop at the hotel and nearby hiking trails.

Pros: Amazing breakfast with great selection of healthy food and drinks. Delicious scrambled eggs. Very comfortable bed, spacious room with a nice and unusual design. The staff is friendly, everyone knows you by your name next day. The chef is a very talented and creative guy.

Perfect mountain getaway

Pros: Simply awesome place to say! Rooms are beautiful and cozy, food and wine are amazing and you're surrounded by mountains with tons of hiking opportunities

Memorable experience in a place where you feel high class but in touch with nature and cozy.

Pros: Hotel is amazing, very modern and yet feels like a warm home. They care about every little detail and you can feel it. From local produce for breakfast and dinner to fresh fruit and tea in the sauna. I was really blown away.

Cons: I would prefer it isn’t located across a gas station but luckily you don’t see it as much. Just a friendly advice would be for the staff to be more in touch with some useful info; having the ebikes charged; the dinner was super tasty but felt a bit chaotic (we had plates left while eating the next course, long pauses between courses, different waiters). Other than that everything was perfect and we can’t wait to come back!

Pros: Nice and cozy hotel located in a peaceful village The rooms are designed with nice and simple woods that brings cozy home feeling Also I do appreciate Mr. Peter at the reception and all staff for thier great hospitality and high expectations Hope to visit again
