Poet Apartment

Pros: Situated in the town centre exceptional location, views overlooking the city square just as the pictures posted. Our host Vera was amazing, wine & treats waiting for us, all amenities supplied. She responded immediately to all queries, couldnt ask for a better host. Highly recommend!

Pros: It was amazing. We loved the location, the beds, the view, the little treats. It was perfect for our family with 2 kids. Close to everything you have to see and restaurants.... Will definitely come back

Pros: Totally beautiful apartment and very generous hosts.

Cons: It’s at the top of a lot of stairs - we should have taken 2 small cases instead of 1 heavy one! But good for fitness!

Pros: It was a fantastic experience staying here. The host was very thoughtful and left us treats, including a lovely gift for my daughter who turned 13 the day after we arrived. The location is excellent—right in the heart of Ljubljana, with everything we needed close by. The apartment was spacious, clean, and very accessible

Pros: Location, facilities, style, the views … OMG the views. One of the best places in our trip around Europe.

The best apartment I have ever stayed in

Pros: The location was brilliant. It was nice to wake up to views of the castle and the monastery. There were loads of good restaurants and cafes nearby. The apartment itself was top notch. It was clean and well appointed. It had everything you would want and more. The host actually provided a lot of extras in terms of juice, milk, snacks and drinks. We used Ljubljana as a base to explore Slovenia. It was so nice to be able to come back to this apartment for a week. Vera, the host was also very nice. She was very responsive to messages and was very accommodating. We had a late afternoon flight. She allowed us to leave our bags in the apartment while the cleaning was done. All in all, it was probably the best I have been in and I have no hesitation in recommending it if you are a family travelling to Ljubljana.

Cons: We were not bothered by it but be warned, in the summer with the windows open, it can be a little noisy as the apartment overlooks the main square. The noise dies down by 11 pm, so it was fine. Families with young children who sleep earlier may not like the noise. If you shut the windows, it becomes quiet enough though.

Pros: Excellent apartment, great location and on the top floor with a very genorous start kit in the fridge. Really nice beds and spacious living room. And great hostess asking if all ok after arriving! We have absolutely nothing negative to say, a family of four.

Cons: Only thing, no elevator if you have trouble walking in stairs, we saw it as extra exercise! 😀

Excellent and homely

Pros: Beautiful property right in the centre of everything. It’s on the top floor of an old building but with modern amenities and very spacious. Really comfortable and nice thoughtful homely touches from the owners. Excellent communication.

Cons: As you were right in the centre of town, you can hear the nightlife, however it shuts off at midnight. We had ear plugs so it wasn’t really a problem for us.

Pros: We had a great short stay in this lovely apartment. Such a fantastic location. It was so nice to have everything we needed and really appreciated all the extra touches.

Pros: This stay was so incredible thank you. We loved every second and so appreciated the welcome basket with our names and the other thoughtful touches around the apartment. Easily one of the best accomodations we have stayed in. The location was the best you could have for Ljubljana. I will 100% be back!
