Tourist Farm Strle With Great Local Food

Phenomenal location and food experience - very relaxing. Would highly recommend!

Pros: Really interesting location - pretty village in beautiful rolling countryside. Very relaxing on a late summer's evening. Yet only 1 hour from the city on very smooth and quiet roads. The real standout was the food - a fantastic experience of a wide range of Slovenian food, both for dinner and breakfast. Combined with the vegetable garden outside and locally harvested ingredients, this made the trip for us. The family who run the property are very friendly and although dinner is not cheap, this is balanced by the very reasonable cost of the property and the diversity of dishes on offer. Would highly recommend staying here.

Cons: The rooms are relatively basic - but are clean and the bathrooms are good. A better pillow (currently very soft and shallow) could be a good addition to the rooms, perhaps?

Pros: Stunning location and very much away from the main tourist route - the surrounding landscape perfectly bucolic and their ethos of home grown and home cooked is very refreshing and my goodness, the food was delicious and plentiful! (Thanks mum - lovely family business!). The setting is so peaceful too with no noise or light pollution, perfect. The hospitality provided by the family was second to none.

Pros: We liked the homemade food very much. The dinners were tasty with plenty of variety and the same goes for the breakfast. The location is excellent if you want to disconnect and enjoy real peace and quiet. On the first day we did a hike recommended by the host and it was great.

Pros: The location, staff, and food at this property are truly 5-star. The views are breathtaking, and the peaceful setting makes it the perfect place to relax and switch off. The owners are incredibly welcoming and go out of their way to create a unique, personal experience in this beautiful corner of Slovenia. The food is exceptional—abundant, delicious, and a real highlight of the stay. Rooms are simple and comfortable, exactly as described, but it’s worth checking the details when you book as some have shared or external bathrooms. If you want an authentic taste of rural Slovenia, surrounded by stunning scenery and genuine hospitality, this is absolutely the place to come!

Cons: One of the mattresses in our room wasn't the most comfortable, but I always think mattresses are a subject of varied opinion. It didn't make our stay any less amazing!

Unique cozy farm experience

Pros: Very unique and special experience, they paid special attention to our needs. Dinner for one had generous portions and was more than enough in quantity to feed 2. There was a lot of signage that made it easy to find. There is also a shared community room with many games, toys and snacks. There is a lot to do all around the farm, and amazing views in every direction!
