Perfect place to start a few extensive hikes and have a good time

Pros: just super friendly and helpful family staff. the place is very comfortable by any standards for a mountain cabin

Definitely recommend staying here if you want to experience the mountains in the Vršic area

Pros: Beautiful quiet location with fantastic mountain views. Friendly staff and delicious dinner and breakfast.

Lovely mountain hut experience

Pros: Charming mountain hut in a stunning setting! Anyone ok with modesty and 3 minute showers (which we were) will love it here.

Cons: It was pretty cold in our room during the night.

Beautiful place with great staff

Pros: Location is stunning. Excellent, friendly, and accommodating staff. Tasty good value food. N.b. there is a 10-15 walk uphill to the property from parking (although staff very kindly picked us up when it was raining with our bags + dropped us back down)

Cons: Not adequate number of toilets and showers for the number of guests which are there at capacity. Given 1 shower token despite booking two nights and hot water turned off early whilst one of us was showering (even though token hadn't run out).

Cons: Wir waren etwas überrascht, dass man für warmes Wasser extra zahlen musste, außer die ersten 3 Minuten.

Pros: I recently stayed at this lovely place, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was absolutely delicious for a day of adventure. What truly made the stay special was the private room with a stunning view of the mountains. Waking up to such breathtaking scenery was an experience I’ll never forget. But the real highlight? The hiking! It was unbelievable how many trails were available, each offering something unique — from peaceful forest walks to more challenging climbs with panoramic views. If you're looking for a peaceful escape surrounded by nature, with great food and endless opportunities for outdoor activities, this place is the perfect choice.

Pros: Lage an der Kreuzung vieler Tourenwege mit öffentlichem Verkehr am Zugang zum Triglav ist optimal. Sehr freundliche Leute und sehr gutes, lokaltypisches Essen. Frühstück ab 7 ist super.

Cons: Wenn die Hütte stark belegt ist, sind die Waschmöglichkeiten zu wenig.
