Erjavčeva mountain hut at Vršič pass

Pros: Wonderful mountainhut, super modern, with nice rooms and a hot shower The food and beer were amazing, especially the breakfast! It is definitely worth the hike!

Pros: Cute mountain hut in a beautiful place and very nice people. They are so dog friendly, my girl got her own big fluffy dog bed 🫶🏻

Great mountain hut experience

Pros: Great cozy mountain hut - wonderful location - great starting point for hikes. Lovely sociable atmosphere. Fantastic red wine!

Pros: If you want an unusual experience, this place is great to visit. The hut has it's own uncomparable atmosphere and being able to sleep among the mountains is something extraordinary, especially if you are into hiking, climbing or other similiar activity. We came on motorcycles and our experiences there was really great.

Cons: Of course what needs to be kept in mind, that it isn't 5-star hotel so you don't get luxury of private bathroom or room, but if think it's obvious and necessary, in such kind of places

Pros: Clean and comfortable, small room. Good breakfast and dinner.

Warm and welcoming hut at the end of a long uphill hike!

Pros: Such a wonderful place to stop on the Alpe-Adria trail. Warm and welcoming staff and great food was greatly appreciated. The staff were super friendly. The rooms were sparse but clean and comfortable with views to die for. There were two female toilets on our floor and one shared shower operated by tokens (provided in the price) for hot water. No problem accessing the shared bathrooms but it's not the busy time of year. You cannot beat the views from the hut as the clouds clear.

Cons: Might be harder to access showers etc.... in busy time.

Pros: the staff - very friendly and helpful, they had vegetarian food, the funny statements on wood panels throughout the place

Cons: the bunk bed mattresses were not easy to sleep on and the twin bed mattress was good hard

Great place

Pros: I really like the hut. It was clean and well maintained. The staff were really nice and helping. Nice and funny wooden decoration 👍. The restorant there serves really nice breakfast in the morning and the local cuisine dishes the rest of the day. The bus stop is in the front of the hut and several hiking routes start nearby. Most parts of hut are newly renovated. Female products in the toilets - really mindful.

Cons: Some additional hooks or shelf could be good to add in the shower room.

Stunning scenery and prefect place for mountain access

Pros: Second stay at property as we loved it so much from last year! Excellent spot for an early start to climb mountains. Paid parking charges not excessive though as not exclusively to the hut we found it quite full when we arrived. Dinner and breakfast excellent and rooms clean and comfortable.

Cons: All good though breakfast only served 0700-0900 so a bit awkward if you are on the side of a mountain with such a short window. Oh and at nighttime the outside is lit up like a Christmas tree which seems ecologically wasteful and also makes it harder to star gaze at night
