Pleasant stay, kind staff, would come again.

Pros: We stayed with a family for one night, as we as we continued traveling on the next day. Our room was well prepared including cots for our children. We could order dinner from the local restaurant and breakfast was very good. Staff was super kind. All in all, great choice to stay.

Great stay. A short drive from Lake Bled.

Pros: Clean and good value for money. Just a short drive from Lake Bled.

Cons: There was nothing really that bothered us. One small thing is that because opposite the accomodation there are stables for horses, sometimes (not always) there was a smell but nothing major. Infact we used to enjoy watching young kids training the horses from our balcony.

Cute pension on the outskirts of Bled

Pros: The pension is located in a small village a short distance (about a 10 minute drive) from the centre of Bled. It is a lovely, quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy town. There was ample parking and we were given a spacious room on the 1st floor with a large double bed and a balcony. We were given the suggestion of a restaurant a 5 minute drive away from the hotel (there is nothing in the village) which turned out to be an excellent pizzeria although the menu was very large and varied. The breakfast in the morning was good with plenty of breads, croissants, cheese, cold meats, scrambled eggs, sausages, yoghurt and cereals. We appreciated the soap and shower gel in the bathroom.

Cons: The fridge in the room was tiny and not very cold. No electric kettle for tea. The lift wasn't working (which was not a problem for us as we did not have much luggage) and could have been an issue for disabled/elderly guests or people with large luggage.

Pros: - Friendly hosts and very good breakfast and coffee - Nice views on the mountains from the terrace and the horses next door - Strategic location, but you need a car if you want to go somewhere for dinner.

Cons: - There's basically no isolation so you hear almost everything from the rooms next/above you and from the hallway - Shower water not running through

Great Stay for Bled Visit

Pros: Stayed 3 nights at Pension Torok in balcony room. Used as base for Bled, Radovljica and local area. Smooth check-in. All staff very attentive and friendly. Spacious room with usable balcony. Excellent breakfast. Dinner on 2 evenings on rear deck - limited menu but quality was fine and good value. Overall - strongly recommended.
