Situated in the centre of Radovljica, a medieval town nestled among the Julian Alps, the family-run Pension Lectar prides itself in its long tradition in hospitality since 1822. The property features a restaurant serving traditional Slovenian cuisine which you can enjoy on the property terrace. The comfortable rooms at the Lectar provide views of the surrounding Alps. Would definitely stay again

Pros: Central location in the old town square. Views from car park amazing. No cars permitted in square so you park just outside. Staff friendly although very very busy. Room clean and warm. Shower and bed great. Ate in restaurant authentic local foods. Shop is lovely and there is also a place where they make the gingerbread / museum. Very quaint. Good value for £.

Cons: We didn’t have breakfast as it had to be pre ordered in via local person. Not a problem as cafe up the road.

Nice themed room in great location

Pros: Nice location, parking nearby. Very helpful even though we arrived late after check-in time, we got to the room without any issue. Nice, themed room with pretty old-style furniture.

Very nice and welcoming stay!

Pros: Very nice pension in the center of Radovljica. The staff was very kind, helpful and always smiling. We even had breakfast and dinner in the pension. The rooms are thematic and very beautifully decorated. We felt like at home! We had our small dog with us and it was no problem. Definitely recommend this pension! Thank you!

Cons: Breakfast was kinda smaller, but in the end we had everything we wanted and it was okay!

Pros: The place is a true fantasy! If you're someone who likes quirky places with tons of details, this is the place for you. I felt like I was in a dream and really didn't want to leave. Dinner was also nice at the downstairs restaurant!

Cons: The breakfast was a true disappointment :( Costs 15 euros and there was almost nothing left by the time I went down. Breakfast is from 8-10, I went there at 9 so not even at the very last minute and I got just a few pieces of ham and cheese + bread and museli. I think (?) there had been warm food as I saw the plates for it but nothing was left. So for 15 euros per person... Really a letdown. They did say it's self-service but I didn't expect they bring out food just once at 8am. I highly recommend the place itself, it's soooo cute but don't get the breakfast.

Convenient location, clean and character filled accommodation.

Pros: We loved our time staying in Radovljica. As it was at the end of shoulder season, all shops were open but it was not too crowded. We could not park directly in front of the hotel as it is in a no drive area, but we found parking easy. Breakfast was plentiful with good choice. There was no washing machine, so we used the launderette near the bus station (not too far away from the pension).
