Relaxing, comfortable and spacious in rural setting outside Bled

Pros: Very friendly, quiet location. Super clean, loads of parking. Although the accommodation is a little old fashioned, it's spacious and we didn't mind the more traditional look. Pet friendly, which we appreciated. The air con worked really well and we got a great few nights sleep. The dinner was excellent too and highly recommended!

Cons: Although it wasn't a problem for us, bear in mind its a little old fashioned in its decor. Also again, not a problem for us, but the breakfast is supplied at the partner hotel in Bled, so you'll need a car.

Amazing staff, beautiful surroundings, care for details

Pros: Amazing staff, good dinner and beautiful surroundings. Exceptional breakfast in a beautiful 4* hotel in Bled, overlooking the lake. Slovenian people and country excede all expectations.

Cons: Nothing to complain about, just remember that breakfast is 20’ drive to Bled.

A must stay while visit Bled region

Pros: It's the first stop of our month-long holiday in Slovenia. And first the best, we enjoyed this excellent hotel! Everyone working here is extremely kind, helpful and professional: they have deep knowledge about the region and the country: tourist attractions, food and wine ect. We have an upgraded room which is spacy and very comfortable, yet quiet at an exclusive location. The small and boutique hotel own as well a Michelin restaurant, while their passion at quality food is also shared on breakfast table. The nearby town of Radovljica offers interesting tourist attractions and outstanding restaurants, while very close to Bled but away from the noisy and busy tourists. All in all, thank Vila Podvin for your excellent service!

I recommend for a short stay next to Bled

Pros: Clean and spatious room, friendly staff, close to Bled (15’ but I recommend you don’t go via autobahn), very very rich and diverse breakfast.

Pros: The team of the Vila Podvin is amazing. They are very professional and dedicated. We were welcomed by Jan who offered us some glass of wine. The breakfast is extremely nice. We had a wonderful time

A hidden gem with an excellent restaurant.

Pros: The team that took over Vila Podvin is very enthusiastic about everything they do. Right upon arrival, I realized that there is much more behind its three stars. The rooms in the attic are quite spacious. The bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is renovated. Everything is clean. Breakfast is an experience! Served in a beautiful setting by the chef himself. There are countless small dishes of delights, from smoked mountain trout from a local breeder to local sour milk. So varied that we didn't even get to the eggs! The Villa also includes a top-notch restaurant. Treat yourself to a 4-course menu. Each bite is an experience!

Cons: Honestly, there’s hardly anything to criticize. Maybe just replace the carpet at some point—it’s clean, but slightly out of fashion! ;) Not to forget: the location is excellent, about a 15-20 minute drive to Bled. This allows you to escape the crowds and enjoy a peaceful village setting. The Villa also features a beautiful park and a unique terrace for long summer evenings.

Pros: Pobyt ve Vile Podvin nám před příjezdem kvůli nečekaným provozním důvodům kompenzovali pobytem v hotelu Rosa u Bledu, který byl sesterským hotelem. Pobyt byl nádherný!!! Snídaně exklusivní a personál vynikající. Děkujeme moc
