Beautiful location and nice staff .

Pros: Warm welcoming with welcome drink. Nice decoration Super mattress and linens . Quiet location Very pleasant to take breakfast outside when sunny.

Cons: Good homemade breakfast but some pastries (croissant) would have been a plus.

Pros: My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at Villa Madja and it was truly a wonderful experience. The property is small and quaint, with only six bedrooms, which gives it an intimate and homely feel. Despite its size, the attention to detail is exceptional—everything feels thoughtfully considered and beautifully maintained. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to make you feel at home. Breakfast was excellent each morning, with a variety of delicious options, and I especially loved the little nibbles available throughout the day—a lovely touch that made the stay feel even more special. If you’re looking for a charming, relaxing place to stay with genuine hospitality and plenty of character, I would fully recommend Villa Madja.

This was a 10/10 experience!

Pros: This is what we call a relaxing holiday! A welcoming staff that takes pride in working at the villa, and always ready to assist. The villa is a nice mix of old (exterior) and new (interior). A nice swimming pool, plenty of shade or sun (whatever you prefer). Safe parking and EV charging available. Excellent breakfast. Trieste is around the corner, as are Lipica and Piran for example. Some good hikes starting in Osp and several vineyards are nearby.......We will gladly return!

Cons: NOTHING, except maby for some shade for the car :-)

Perfect stay!

Pros: The rooms are beautifully decorated with a super comfortable bed. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating to all our needs. Also breakfast was excellent with lots of options. Highly recommend.

Pros: Nicely renowated building with pool and lovely sorroundings, were peaceful and quiet area.

Cons: Some rough edges around the service, e.g. we were not told the WiFi password and realized we need it only after the reception has already closed. Air conditioning did not work, and opening the windows resulted in a number od musqitoes in the room.
