Hotel Maestoso - Lipica

Pros: Extremely welcoming and accommodating staff. Went above and beyond to make our stay with a toddler as pleasant as possible.

Cons: Breakfast was a bit disappointing. A pool or a spa would be nice.

Pros: Beautiful location. The breakfast was really plentiful and very tasty. The rooms were very nice. Even though we were there in January and it was rainy, we had a very nice walk through Lipica. We can't wait to come back in the spring.

Pros: Nice hotel, great area. Clean, quiet if you request a room not overlooking the main entrance.

Wonderful place for fami lies with kids

Pros: We stopped for one night on the way to Italy and we ended up extending our stay. Its beautiful place, relaxing and a lot of outdoor space and greenery. Breakfast was very good and the staff is the best I have seen so far in Slovenia. We will definatelly go back in the Spring time.

Cons: In my opinion it is a bit pricy, even thoght the hotel was very empty.

I was there for the horses that I loved and they did not disappoint!

Pros: The room was good and the view was beautiful. The reception staff were amazing especially Katja and Natalja. They went out of their way to resolve some issues I had in a professional and friendly manner. Thank you Natalja for providing my medicine!

Cons: The hotel is part of the Lipica Stud Farm but is having large groups of retirees that come at the same time. The dining room is often very crowded and vey noisy with the food items running out quickly because of these groups. The hotel should acknowledge the guests who come for riding the horses and provide more spaces for them and even a separate dining area. Being in such beautiful and active area it should cater to younger more active guests.

Pros: The hotel was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was great. We had a fantastic meal in the restaurant on the first night. The location was superb, two minutes walk from the gates to the Lippizaner stud farm.

Cons: We struggled to control the temperature in the room - that may have been us though.

We are planning to go there again.

Pros: I liked the room, the location and the restaurant. The breakfast was good. The design of the hotel is fantastic!

Cons: Well, I don't think it can be changed, but I didn't like that I had no privacy on the balcony.

Cons: The beautiful Lipizzaner horses, we were so lucky to have booked for ‘Lipica Day’ without realising. The whole stay went beyond our expectations

Amazing place and great location with very helpful staff

Pros: So unusual and eco friendly, great staff. Our luggage got locked in an information centre and they had it delivered to us within a couple of hours. Obviously the best feature is the proximity to the beautiful Lippizaner horses

Cons: No cocktails!
